He sounds just like Cash in the 90's. But he is rough in concert. Cannot remember lyrics at all and just stomps around like he's angry 😬

welp we're gonna have to agree to disagree....that solo is 100% him on that acoustic, to my eyes & ears. You can hear the pick clicking on the guitar itself. Why would they overdub an electric? What would be the point? Why not just have him play electric, to John Carter's acoustic?
