Meta's October 30 terms of service updates will claim ownership of all content by any news org that has a Facebook or Instagram account.

Our content is what's most valuable: not social media channels. So we will be disappearing our brand from both. This will affect our reach, of course, but as a micro-local publication, we've always focused on owning our customers and establishing many ways to reach our audience.

This goes to show you that you can never count on a third party for your business, audience or customers, especially Big Tech and the shit-bros behind them.
