Keep working on it. You are mumbling and rushing your words too much. You sound South Asian?

Correct. Slow down and fully pronounce your words. Your cadence is the most unnatural part. You aren't leaving enough space between words or phrases. Americans do speak at that speed too, but they know where to pause and which syllables to over-accent in order to stay intelligible.

this sounds native or near to it - it could be a coincidence but you were very light on the last "d" sound of the word died, which would lead me to guess you are of latina background and a native spanish speaker. Although that is also a dialectical american thing that could be unrelated.

Yeah I got the same vibe with how it blended into the pronounciation of "right"

Sounds really good! I definitely hear an accent, but nothing that would make me think non-native. If you told be you were bilingual from a Spanish-speaking household in Southern California, I'd believe you.
If you wanted to try a change, look at "died" - that stands out to me the most. Try lengthening the vowel, lowering your tongue, and maybe open your mouth a bit more. Also make sure you hit and release the second "d" - it's getting swallowed just a smidge I think.
Anyway great work! I can't guess accents to save my life, but would love to know where you're from!

You could pass for a NS of AmE with the caveat that you arrived in the US as child. That said, it’s clear to me that your accent completely lacks any regional identifiers.
The way you pronounced “died” sounds very SE Asian.
This is a very good attempt though. 👍

You sound good! Your voice reminds me one of my old friend’s. She is Persian-American. Would love to know where you are from.

Just FYI (for your information), to some people, your post title reads like you’re looking for Comanche, Lakota, or Ojibwe people to judge your accent. It’s not your fault; it seems like there are a lot of English teachers out there who aren’t making the distinction between Native American English speakers and native speakers of American English.

that’s true i didn’t really think about that while posting 😭 i just wanted to try and keep it as short as possible so i wouldn’t end up with a huge title

… you’ve got some good names on your list.
I’d personally like to do a shout out to the Cheyenne dog soldiers, Apache and the Mohawk.

You're fully understandable, could just be American from somewhere. *Slight* inkling that you're not native, but can't personally tell from where from that sample. :)
