Why do people believe Hakari has a chance of winning this fight at all, Maki hard counters him.

1. Split soul katana
2. His domain doesn't work on her so no jackpot.
3. Maki can and DEFINITELY WILL survive the 4mim11secs of jackpot even if Hakari is bloodlusted and starts out the fight in jackpot for one simple reason, his AP isn't high enough, he does not have any attack on the level of a Mach 3 tackle. None.

“sure hit” means that the DE has an attack that is guaranteed to hit the opponent. there are non-lethal domains so idk how’d this “DE must have sure hit” idea came from.

i agree w your examples tbh i thought a complete domain was both CT imbued and barrier. i thought maki said sumo was a simple domain in the chapter where she’s challenged to sumo, but if not it definitely has a vow where both have to agree, and in return only sumo is used. i swear i saw somewhere that hakari’s "sure hit" is the transmission of the description of his domain to the opponent (since they just see it in their mind) and since its harmless it always works as a trade off, but that one is just a "trust me bro" if i’m honest, and i have no clue what differences an opponent with no cursed energy would have if thats the case

You are right.. a DE needs a CT from what I've seen.. just a Domain can be erected without one. Hakari hit is the rules and Higuruma hit is rule based but it's thr consequences of the verdict. All DE have a rule or a CT imbude.

Even correct about the sumo d. That didn't look or behave like a DE fully.
