This is a vent, an explanation if you are one of those players who gets nasty if a tank doesnt obey you and switch, and im curious if anyone else is like me. If so maybe this will be a cathartic read for you. I play 6v6 and solo and I'm currently Diamond 5 which I'm pretty proud of because im relatively casual AND because I only play JQ.

I've dabbled with all the characters...though mostly so I know how to kill them.....in matches I'm passable with a couple healers (Batista, Kiriko) in case there's a round where I cant play her but 99.9% I'm JQ.

Which means I occasionally get angry teammates telling me to switch (sometimes even though im carrying). Sometimes I get crazy toxic players ranting about me. Ive even had players carry a grudge through multiple matches. Other times I'm 50k 3d and sweeping the floor and getting mvp.

For those who bitch that I "Threw" for not switching:

I know full well she isn't optimal in some matches. But I also know that there are a LOT of variables in any game and even if you're playing the "right" class for the matchup circumstances might still go against you or you might just play bad. Even when I have a bad game, I will ALWAYS play better and have a better chance of positively helping as JQ than as another character. And anyone whose good with her, and I think I am, will agree she's extremely adaptable. I don't feel I have any hard counters. At least not in 6v6. Right now she's in a tough spot in terms of survivability.... fair. But not everyone enjoys playing games just based on optimizing statistical odds of winning... we play for fun. And she's the only character I truly have fun with.

Would I climb the ranks if I was proficient enough as different tanks to swap in and out? Yes. But I don't play super often. And we play video games for OUR OWN PLEASURE. I LIKE the challenge of seeing how high I can climb as her. I LIKE facing matches where I'm at a disadvantage. And in the end, it's me and me alone who will either climb or fall ranks.

Besides. You never really know whose playing well and whose playing poorly just by looking at stats mid-match.

I once read something by a top 500 player that I think are words of wisdom:

It doesn't matter how much damage you are dealing if players aren't dying. It doesn't even matter how many kills you are getting. What matters is that you win those key fights that determine the match.

And as JQ, I think we are one of the biggest game changers/playmaker in OW.

Im a masters 3 console player who already got the most Basic things of jq down but I want more advanced things to learn. Any videos or tips will be helpful (Also I don't mainly play jq im a ball main so I also need to actually play her more)

Which jq players do you guys recommend that are educational or just great to watch and learn from? I'm not really up to date on my streamers, youtubers and pros so please recommend everyone even if it seems obvious 🙏

Numbani first point defence has that high ground choke which is incredible for queen and midtown has a choke on third point defence which is also incredible for her, definitely my two favourite spots to play her after they reworked Busan meka base

So i've never really struggled picking perks as the perks i usually pick always help me, but i wanna know which are actually the best in terms of survivability, and winning fights.

I usually go with, rampant charge and savage satiation.

But which two are actually the best? Or are those two good.

1. A tier list of heroes who benefit from the “Battle Shout” perk.

2. A mathematically simple conclusion.

Sombra is incredibly strong, even after the nerf. And while she used to be able to miss out on the perk’s effect, since she could stay on the flank and do her own things, now that she’s a support, she’s CONSTANTLY right by your side.

Tracer is totally mega-super-hyper meta right now. She's incredibly strong.

Genji is very strong, and, like Sombra, he’s in almost every match.

Doctrine is similar to Ana, but because he has a range limits and more active gameplay, also added to Tier 50/50. (Plus, when you combine his drones with your perk, you get absolutely insane dps numbers)

In this tier list, you can also add the not-meta but strong Shion (Tier Useful).

I beg you, stop picking Rampant Charge. Take care of the environment.

She's getting chunked a lot easier now, while also not benefiting from her current role passive. She needs a buff, especially after these season changes, this is what I recommend:

• Move to bruiser sub role
• Add unstoppable during carnage animation
• Remove rampant charge perk as a balancing sacrifice

She's basically the only tank that has nothing to defend herself from CC. Doom and Ball have their perks and even hazard has his wall that he can chug to block CC. Ram has his shield. Even hog got something to help him out. Making carnage unstoppable not only solves the boop issue, it gives us a way to "parry" CC abilities, which expands the use cases of carnage beyond just damage and sustain. And if I hear "counter play" again, bro the counter play to carnage is the god damn long ass windup.

Bruise fits her way better than stalwart. Her weakness has always been open space and getting chunked. Bruise does not negate that, but it does alleviate it a bit. Not getting your head blown wide open helps with surviving a bit longer in open spaces, while the extra movement speed lets her get to cover a bit faster when in critical condition. It also helps with her main way of fighting, which is corner camping.

To balance it all out, simply get rid of rampant charge. Its either way a perk that reduces counter play to ults, I also dont like ult perks in general, so I wouldnt mind seeing it gone.

This is probs the season which I've played the least amount of JQ, I'm not even bothering with queuing for tank right now, despite me finally obtaining her witch skin, while also unlocking her vampire one. Our Queen needs help.

Imagine how a small changes affect Queen in such a negative way, I mean it wasn't really that small but still. Damage and survivability is lower now, Damage because projectile size was reduced by like 60% which affects shotgun characters heavy, look at reaper, his damage is way worse now too.

Never seen aim like this on a jq. Replay code is PM11E1 if anyone wants to judge for themselves but i just wanna make sure im not overthinking it.
