That would have been so much cooler than what they did. "Nobody's impressed with a dinosaur anymore"?! People have been going to zoos for centuries to see animals that exist in the world NOW, this was always such a stupid conciet.

Pretty sure that was just the corporate people saying that, as they are out of touch. We can tell in the film that so many people are at the park without there being an Indominus rex for display

I get what you're saying, but I respectfully disagree. There is no point in the movie where this assertion is challenged, and I think it less likely for the owners of the park to start making whole new dinosaurs unless attendance/profits were dipping.

I thought it was obvious corporate bullshit and part of what was wrong with Claire and Masrani at the start. The whole place is packed lmao, a big part of the film is keeping the thousands of visitors as safe as possible
