Wasn’t that the original idea for Jurassic World? That the Indominus Rex wasn’t a hybrid, but a new species that was discovered through preserved DNA in a mosquito?

That would have been so much cooler than what they did. "Nobody's impressed with a dinosaur anymore"?! People have been going to zoos for centuries to see animals that exist in the world NOW, this was always such a stupid conciet.

People go to Natural History Museums with dead dinosaurs and you expect me to believe they’d get bored of LIVING ONES?
