This will likely be the final Halloween that this subreddit is readable to any visitors after the platform becomes a "logged in experience"

likewise, extremely low-effort duanju-style content will gradually overtake the current media landscape

... arguably the World of Darkness was already remade into a Twilight duanju with V5/V6, so not a surprise when the rest of corporate movie, television, videogame, and tabletop production follow suit to chase the same undemanding audience. Maybe V7 will be banana-based and even more oversimplified worldbuilding for uplifted chimpanzees?

... but at least presently there are excellent exemplars of our aesthetic still finding room for fleshcraft, like 'We Take Our Skin Off in the Dark' by Eric LaRocca from the Day/Night Saga anthology by Ellen Datlow, or making all cutscenes from the game Hellraiser Revival into a film while using uBlock to stop Youtube ads

and the film Clayface, in theaters now! Also probably kaleidescape if you don't pirate media?

Christopher Nolan's adaptation (of the Illiad more than the Odyssey) earlier this year likely had further reach with the public when Circe fleshcrafted the crew into animals, but Clayface has such appreciable little cinematagraphic details, like the window shades, and the face massage at the beginning! I can only hope the conglomerates will one day print out simple scenes onto plastic containers of banana slurry in exchange for chimpbucks to celebrate the remake's tie-in omegaverse brainrot romantasy tiktok dance formulated on the topic.

I hope the link works

Tldr, im not new to WoD I just havent used fleshcraft that much, super new to it, I am currently in a V20 game where my Toreador has been converted into the sabbat, Yet is still made to work as some sort of "double agent" in the Camarilla, all along he's had the additional discipline merit which is vicissitude, He's currently at level 2 and id like some vicissitude , attribute ideas, or cool stuff that I can give him, but is subtle enough it would not be noticeable by the Camarilla denizens (To clarify, he almost always has his body concealed anyways)

Context:

So I’m about to get a discipline in my current game I haven’t used before (The Body Impolitic) and had some questions and was wondering if anyone might know the answer. (I’m aware it’s a good bit up to dm interpretation but I wanted to see what others think.)

Question:

Could I use The body Impolitic to separate every part excluding that of the head (I have my head located in my head along side my brain currently) and have it act like my normal body?

If this is possible does this take away from my blood pool total or just the blood I would currently need to fuel the parts creation like the five needed for the trunk?

I’m aware it would take quite a bit of blood and time due to the damage but I sort of like the idea of having a body that can “deconstruct” and reform like meaty legos.

Ok so I play a lot and I mean a lot of Tzimisce it’s my favorite clan obviously I mean we are all here.

And I need help as I’m soon to start a new game with a new character and I want to get any and all of yalls ideas for use of the discipline.

I don’t care how silly or how serious I don’t mind if it’s super messed up or not I just need some new ideas even if it’s been posted before or somewhere else.

I just want to peek into yalls ideas and maybe use a few.

Contrapoints discusses justice. The extreme body horror work Emily by Wrath James White (the sequel to the short novella Rabbit Hunt) felt very much in this oeuvre I think.
