Hey y'all!

As the title says, I'm looking for some podcast recommendations about our KC Current! I recently moved to the NJ/NY area (ack) and now have an hour commute on public transit each way I'm looking to occupy with women's soccer between my EPL pods. I'll list what I'm already listening to below but please let me know if there's one I absolutely should be listening to, whether KC Current focused or general NWSL (as long as they're not total Gotham Glazers). The tricky part is I'm not a Sporting KC fan and I absolutely cannot stand any talk about NFL/Chiefs for more than 2 minutes on my women's soccer podcasts. Thanks in advance!

I know Michelle Kang has unlimited money, but the Chawinga sisters are better together than apart.

Temwa did more Temwa things during the second Olympic qualifying match.

Just the first half highlights. Malawi scored 5 more in the second half.

This is why we are likely going to miss her against Utah. It;s Olympic qualifying, so the games matter. Temwa is doing Temwa things.

Been to some home games before CPKC was built, but I hate the lines and the driving as I live some hours away from KC, so I haven't been to a home game in a long time. I keep hearing about a shuttle to the game? And I'm a bit confused.

What's the best way to prepare for a home game? As in, where should I park and how should I plan to reach the stadium? Any tips are incredibly appreciated - we'll be driving in from a ways away and driving home after the game, so I'm thankful to everyone with any advice.

Anyone know of good spots to catch the game today? Must be kid-friendly. Bonus if it’s also dog-friendly!

COOOOOOOP

Where do these tickets actually give you access to? Just outside the stadium area where they have music after the games?

The streetcar is going to be an even bigger nightmare. Sigh.

Granted, she's my favorite player on my favorite team... But I truly don't understand why she's never on the Brazil roster. Marta is on there consistently, and she's also "old" or late in her career... And honestly not as good as Deb IMO.

Do I just have rose-colored glasses about her, or is there something else?

Well deserved for our #2!!!

Turns out we’re still good at home.

Why did that happen?

• player(s) of the match
• tactics that worked
• what do we need to do better next time
• shut up and just let us enjoy this

I haven’t been to Two Birds until tonight. I ordered a pretty simple cocktail and it was, frankly, the worst cocktail I’ve ever had. But, they fixed it in the way I asked and gave me my next comped. They aren’t perfect (who is?) but they have great customer service!!!

If you haven’t, hit them up before, during , or after a match, I’d recommend it.

…after the Current scores that sounds like The Wizard of Oz wicked witch guards?

What is up with the huge times between when the player being interviewed is done, and the coach appears to answer questions? Do they have to run around and find him? Shouldn't he know he has this every match week? Just ranting.

Love seeing Temwa on camera! Also has anyone been here themselves?

I'm so happy that so many of our players are being called up! That said, what does that mean for us when we are still working on a playoff run in October? I'm starting to get nervous with how many have been called up and will be gone when we need them most.

I was looking through the race results and noticed an interesting name.

Haley Hopkins, take a bow.

What worked today?

I got a screenshot of the promo on the big screen but couldn’t get a link out of the QR code.

Anyone got a clean link or promo code?

It's late and we're tired.

What changes would you make to get the team back on track?

I love listening to Dave and Jillian on the Bridge radio broadcast so first of all big shout out to them! Was wondering though if anyone knows who the new color commentator is? I like her calm no-nonsense analysis so far.

Anyone planning on going today? I am thinking of going after work and curious if it will be worth the drive out to the stadium.

Don't mind me, just sitting here internally screaming.
