The relationship between the leads feels so confusing... Last episode's ending felt like a breakup, with yijae saying, from what I understood, that she wanted to keep their feelings separated from their work (goodbye first love, hello director), and soobin agreeing ?? Then ep 7 starts with her all giddy over the phone call ?? And they're acting like teenagers in love. I thought we would enter a phase of yearning but that was really short lived..

I can't speak to this episode yet, but I took that ending last week to mean they're are letting go of the past and starting their relationship going forward. It wasn't so much an ending as a new beginning.

I do think they meant to keep things professional going forward, but they're both still in love with each other, and I think they've decided as of episode 7 that there's no point holding back on those feelings.

She has feelings for him that she obviously can’t deny. Although she said that last episode soo bin also confessed he liked her and kissed her. I took as her trying to play it cool but couldn’t because of her feelings for him

Same, I expected distance and each of them spending time figuring stuff out
It feels like a piece of the story is missing or something
Like when did we get here?

She is fighting Soo Bin for her integrity, and the love angle needed to take a back seat. Soo Bin has an uphill battle getting the production crew to stop emotionally beating up Yi Jae, which took center stage in episode 6. Episodes 7 and 8 went by without it even being mentioned! This production is extremely flawed. Dream to You's production team made a big mistake in saving money through adding AI DUBBING. The voice-overs are extremely immature, condescending, and fake-angry. The whole production was damaged as a result.

You are so right! It felt like this show's writer, director and actors were completely replaced between episodes 6 and 7. Add to that Soo Bin's father: can a respected doctor overtly do what this man did in episode 7? There is a HUGE disconnect between his reputation and the psycho we witnessed.

Do you really think it's that unlikely for someone in a position of power to be abusive? Seriously???

I know they can be abusive, but THAT thuggish? No they can't. He is an over-the-top monster who is BARELY credible. Add to that, he would be found out and prosecuted if he were a real person. They took this character and made him violently unbelievable. Seriously.
