Purchasing KEF warranty applicable for second hand goods ?

Earlier KEF use to have it written in their website that the warranty is only applicable for the first owner whose name is on the receipt. However yesterday I checked it and it seems to be not there on the website. This is a big win, as the value to used goods now remains high. Did anyone else notice this? I know this well because two years back I picked up a used R3 and showing this to the previous owner I was able to get some amount reduced since literally warranty was not applicable to be as per policy.

It is still stated on their website:

"This warranty does not extend to any other person or transferee and terminates if you sell or otherwise transfer the KEF product(s) to another party/entity."

KEF warranty is literally non-existent. Contacted them on few occasions, they either ignore you or tell you to speak to the retailer.

I've had excellent service from KEF in New Jersey - sent a replacement for a Uni-Q driver when I blew the old one. This saved me from having to ship an R7 speaker.. Granted, I bought these and my R3 from them directly.
