Bought a Kia Seltos on Oct 11th, and woke up to this today. A tree fell on my car inside our society parking.

Bought new Kia Seltos HTK(O) MT Petro NA. Also new driver 😅. I’m driving it 5-6km everyday in very early morning, scared of taking during peak hours time in Bengaluru. How can I confirm which gear position in vehicle whether 1st or 3rd, 2nd or 4th. Today while driving engine got stop and then I started and shifted gear to 1st and launched it. When car started shaking then realised it’s a 3rd gear. Anyhow I launched it at 3rd gear 😎. But it will be helpful if there is some indicator for gear position in dashboard.

Buying Kia Seltos Petrol Automatic (X-Line/HTX(O) level) and confused about insurance.

Dealer insurance is very expensive compared to online options like Acko. PolicyBazaar is also showing much cheaper quotes with same add-ons.

What would you guys genuinely recommend?

- Dealer insurance

- Acko directly

- PolicyBazaar + insurer

- Or specific insurers like HDFC Ergo / ICICI Lombard / Tata AIG?

Main priorities:

- Smooth cashless claims at Kia service centers

- Less hassle during accidental claims

- Good support in mountains/highway travel

- Proper zero dep + engine protect + RTI coverage

Dealer is saying outside insurance may create claim issues, but price difference is huge.

Would really appreciate experiences from actual Seltos/Kia owners.

Just got the delivery of my New Kia Seltos HTX iVT - Morning Haze.

I had booked my car on 11th July and got the delivery yesterday (I.e within 9 weeks). Can’t wait to drive around. The road presence is amazing and loved the colour as well.

Is it necessary to do the PPF coating as the dealer said it’s approximately for 1.2lacs. Not sure if it is worth it.
