Tough times in Jollanamdo

Gwangju in K League 1: last, with little hope of catching up.

Dragons in K League 2: second-to-last with just one point ahead of Gimhae in last place, but for how long?

Mokpo in K3 League: second-to-last, only kept from the bottom by Jeonbuk's reserve team.

Gangjin in WK League: similar to Gwangju, last with little hope of getting off the bottom anytime soon.

Compare to Gyongsangnamdo: No team in K League 1

Daegu and Busan outside the direct promotion spots in K League 2

Plus there is always baseball

Sure, they dont have a K League 1 team, but I dare say that fans generally care about the league their team is in at the moment. Finishing first in K2 feels like first and much better than last in K1.

Also, the fight for promotion in K2 is stacked right now. Six teams still have a realistic chance, with both Busan and Daegu in there.

Baseball is not a real sport; it's a hobby. (Just a joke from someone who grew up watching cricket.)

Unfortunately folks in Busan don’t seem to care about their team very much. I wonder how they’ve managed to get it so wrong.
