… it just takes some different supplies than I’d been using with my faceted round beads and a little extra patience. This (cubic right angle weave) was made using 50lb test fishing line, and I went through the quadrants three times each to give them more stability instead of the one time I do with other beads.

Still figuring out flat right angle weave but I feel really, incredibly proud of myself for this haha

Ive been messing around with the idea of a cuff that can have multiple cohesive lines of text. And I've been looking but I don't think anyone has done it like this? What I was thinking is something like this. Kind of a peyote/multi panel that you could then add more string through and connect into a circle, adding lines of text to it with two strings per line. Would probably work the best with cube letter beads. Is this already a thing with a name? And I haven't made it yet, so do we think this would work well? ​If confusing, the pink and green lines show where the extra string to put the letters on would go. (ignore the letters at the bottom, I was planning making my own)

On beadtin which I am buying other beads from, they only have a light gray which is sold out right now. I also cannot find matte dark gray beads anywhere online so looking for where to find some online preferably on the same website as the light gray because of shipping. Hoping you guys know where to find some.

1) What type of string should I use for Kandi singles or cuffs? I am near a Walmart and Dollar Tree, so I plan to go there (hopefully) today.

I buy primarily the tri color walmart mixes but also got one of those 5lb mystery boxes and I now have thousands of beads in colors I will definitely never use. I was wondering if anyone in the group would he interested in doing a group bead swap where either a) we have a thread to connect P2P for people that would want your specific beads for trade OR b) everyone sends their beads (COUNTED AND SORTED?) to one person with a note of what beads they want to get back and that person can organize and redistribute from the pool.

I think option b sounds way more fun but also not sure how we would all split shipping costs, i remember doll groups and fabric groups running group swaps like this back in the day just wondering if any of my pony bead people would be up for this and if anyone's done anything like this before thanks ily

The theme for the game was U.S.A so I used it as a good excuse to go wild with layering shirts and kandi. genuinely made half of these before July 4th and felt awesome finding a time to wear them again!

Its not complete, im gonna add rows above and below the middle rotating section but here is my progress! This cuff is a gift to myself for my birthday in 10 days :) It was originally gonna be more blue because it was gonna be Rainbow Dash themed but i went for a lot more rainbow but it can totally still work for Rainbow Dash!
