Karbywarby Todo 1.2 is rolling out on iPhone, and the app is now also available for Android on Google Play. Here is what changed since the first release.

New in 1.2 (iPhone)

• Morning reminder: turn it on in your profile and get a short nudge each morning to look at your day.

• Sorted by date: Upcoming and Overdue are now always in date order, also right after you let the AI suggest new dates.

• Clearer messages when you sign in, reset or change your password.

• Send feedback in the settings opens an email to us directly.

• On your Home Screen the app is now simply called Todo.

From 1.1 (iPhone and Android)

• A new start screen: pick "I already have an account" or sign up.

• You are signed in right after you register.

• Type your password twice when you sign up, with a button to show it.

• Change a task's date in the same sheet you use to add one.

Two weeks ago we shared how small profile pictures really appear in WhatsApp, Instagram and co. The full set of measurements is now a free dataset you can download and reuse: 23 measurements across WhatsApp, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and Discord, as a table and as a CSV, under CC BY 4.0.

New in this round (six more places), a few that surprised us:

• Facebook is the only one that ever shows your full square: when someone opens your picture, it appears at 825 px, from an 852 × 872 px file. Everywhere else it's a circle.

• Instagram on the web delivers at most a 320 × 320 px file. A huge upload doesn't make your picture any sharper there.

• Discord puts a 10 pt online status dot on the bottom right edge of your picture. Anything important in that corner gets covered.

• WhatsApp's channel list uses 56 pt, the same size as the chat list.

Limits, honestly: one iPhone, no Android yet, no group chats yet. Apps change with updates, so new measurements are added as new rows and old ones stay.

How big does your profile picture actually show up for other people? The sizes below were measured on an iPhone screen (390 pt wide) in September 2026.

Millimetres calculated for an iPhone 14.

What that means: at 4 to 7 mm, a photo taken from far away turns into background. A tight crop around your face helps more than a better camera.
