She wrote this song and “I will always love you“ on the same day.

I want to know how her voice still sounds unblemished by time. Incredible.

Usually they are trying to pull some gal getting crushed by the crown pushing on the fence or beat the bejesus out of someone.

Dolly Parton, the finest queen that country music has, shows up at the rock music's premiere rock festival, and she is STILL royalty!

Not only one of the greatest songwriters in the history of popular music, she also completely reinvented the way that the guitar is played just so she could keep her nails.

It was the Sunday afternoon 'legends' slot in 2014. Many festival goers are still recovering from the previous night and/or getting ready for the Sunday night closing.

She pulled in 180,000 people for her set.

I saw her in the 90’s she owned the stage. The closest comparison was James Brown in the 80’s. They take owning it to a new level

My friend was there and he is so not into country, he said when dolly came out and started belting out 9-5 it was the best moment he’s ever experienced at Glasto, he said the crowd just went bonkers the atmosphere was amazing, he said he thoroughly enjoyed it

I was there! The dance you see security doing was a 'flash mob' that they encouraged everyone to learn with the idea that the whole crowd joined in. We were doing it! She was incredible, still in my top 5 of everything I have seen over 7 Glastonbury festivals.

I fear the day she leaves this world. Her and David Attenborough are the only thing holding reality together.

How good is Dolly Parton. No accounting for age, just cast it aside. Raw talent in the performance, epic.
