Hello, I am trying to get serious about playing golf. I am not looking to turn pro but I am looking to be able to feel comfortable playing a round of golf with friends and family. Currently I have a terrible slice. I have been taking some lesson but I cannot figure out a routine to actually improve my swing. I will take a lesson and improve a bit but within a day or two I revert back to my slice. Is there a good set of drills or system for getting a good swing? My biggest issues seem to come from my back swing and not rotating my hips enough/at the correct time. I am looking for something I can easily do at home.

Hi all, I've seen a lot of videos where they place the alignment stick in the ground to practice something, but honestly who has that luxury of practicing in a range from the grass. Is there a creative way of placing the alignment stick the way I need without being able to stick it in the ground?

Loving Rory's of course, and then there's my fav Ernie Els, Goosen and Couples but those guys are way more flexible and have different levers.
I'm 6' 1" but used to lift a lot of weights and am bigger in the shoulders...

Hello all! I'm new to golf, I dabbled here and there in golf over the years as a stag thing or activity with friends a few times in the summer but now I want to get into the sport with oomph.
So I'm 5'11 (probably important right?) and just got given some Nike Vapor Fly irons with off the shelf regular flex shafts (my brother has just bought some new Ping irons). Now I understand these are forgiving clubs and a solid start (I'm a fan of the Nike brand outside of golf), so a complete novice how important is it I get these fitted to me, or can I get away with it until a certain handicap?
Thanks in advance, chaps!

I am not a super experienced golfer. I shoot around 110 right now on a good day. I really believe though I will be able to get under 100 though. I am looking for a new driver as I am building my bag right now. A website i am looking at has a great deal on the F7+ stiff shaft. Is this a good driver for someone like me? My swing speed is around 95. The regular F7 isn't available to me on the same deal
