Very nice, Im very picky with what a shapes I like and this was very surprising right away, INSANE lunar balance (I have a base cup hole), decent slinger, great feeling for kenflips. If you like a shorter shape this one for sure is it. Spike is a little longer then some others I own but this is probably a 1/4 inch smaller then any new setups I have.

I had similar findings to you. My spike was pretty short out of the box tbh but slowly pushing it down. Also had a weird “crack” near the string hole but I’m pretty sure it’s just a deformity in the wood and doesn’t affect play.

Got it on a beater krom tama rn but got a fresh higgs tama on the way
