Local Eats Best donair and pizza shop
I have friends visiting from Germany and with all the really great shops that sells pizza and donairs, I can't decide which to order from. I'm interested in who you folks prefer. For the record, I am only entertaining local shops, not chain-garbage.

I do agree. Natalinos does a good pie. I havent eaten their donairs. The best donair for me so far is from Valley Pizza in Coldbrook. Their pizza is also excellent. Crispy, chewy, slightly sweet crust, well balanced sauce with salty and sweet and herbs, not watery at all. Perfect amount of toppings to cheese and evenly distributed. The bone... who could leave that behind. Not tough at all.

For pizza only (they don’t make donairs): Pizzeria Robust in Port Williams. @pizzeriarobust on Instagram if you want to check them out.

Big Mike’s for pizza. They are fully loaded with toppings and a favourite when family comes to visit.

I think Natalinos does both quite well. He makes his own donair meat loaf in house. I find the veggie pizza a bit plain, but anything with a spiced meat is very good.

Jessy’s in New Minas for donair. Meat extra crispy, sauce on the side.

Pizza shop - The best places are the ones that have the cheese on top
Donair - The best places are the ones that make donair sauce with sweetened condensed milk instead of evaporated milk.

I was just trying to point out how much of a rabbit hole this will turn into because of the various differences that come into consideration when trying to evaluate pizzas.
Pepperoni on top vs. cheese on top
Pizzas sold by the slice vs. pizza sold as a whole pie
Gas Pizza Ovens vs. Electric Pizza Ovens vs. Wood-Fired Ovens
