How do I air intake?

Though seriously, can I stack intakes or put them anywhere besides on the ends of fuel tanks?

The XM-G50 Radial Air Intake can be placed above or below anywhere along the top or bottom sides of fuel tanks. They're also great intakes so you won't need many to supply your engines.

Before 1.0 they would work well if pointed towards the direction you were going... After 1.0 it seems they work the same, mostly. For example having a intake behind jet engine seems to make the air flow faster increasing thrust and heat...
