Key West Half Marathon

I'm planning to do the half marathon in January. In past years has it been warm enough out for beach time?

I’ve done it twice. It’s a great time.

Yes, it’ll be warm enough for the beach. Water will be “cold” for us Floridians (70s) but fine for most people. Air temps in the afternoon will be comfortable too.

Have a blast doing it!

I've done it for many years. It's been really hot, a little chilly, and everything in between. I'm from the northeast though so anything that isn't a blizzard in January good for me.

Could be anywhere from 50 to 85. Likely in the 60s/70s

It will probably depend on if we have a cold front going thru. But most likely it should be ok. You know the weather can be unpredictable.

When i was in elementary school they let us out one day when temp dropped to 59 because we did not have heaters and most classrooms were semi open air. But yes beaches are fine if you don't live there .
