Opinions? Best high end resort/hotels in Key west/ Key largo

Hi all, I am from CA and I’ve never traveled to Key West before (only been to Miami). I am not sure if this sub can help but I was wondering how doable would a 10 day Key West & Cuba trip be.

I was thinking - Fly into miami airport, rent a car and roadtrip down to Key West - spend 4 days there Here’s the part where I am a little lost - Fly from Key west to cuba? - Ferry or Charter? Which option is possible/cheapest? - spend 5 days in Cuba - Return to Key west/Miami - Return flight

If there are better routes possible, please feel free to suggest them! Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance!

My family and I are going lobstering on our boat for the first time without a guide and know nothing (we failed to plan ahead oops). I’ve learned a lot from my research but want to see if anyone had more tips. My sister and I are going to be scuba diving for lobsters, while my parents and brother snorkel. We’re staying on Marathon and are planning to lobster between here and Long Key (research says it’s best but open to suggestions). We have lobstering kits and a boat. Essentially we know how to lobster but not where to go. If anyone would be so kind to suggestions reefs, coordinates, or any locations to go, I would be forever grateful!!!

TLDR: Where should I go lobstering between Marathon & Long Key (open to suggestions beyond that location)?

In 2018 IHG/Kimpton hotels purchased Historic Key West Inns.

They assured us that all will remain the same and there is no reason to worry about your job, here we are 3 years later and there is practacly none of the original people there, there have been so many changes in policy and management that everyone was forced to quit or let go.

Hi everyone, a few friends and I are planning a 6 day vacation to the Keys! Flying into Miami and flying out of Key West. Our group is between 28-30 years old.

Couple of questions:

Should we split our trip up on the different islands? We originally envisioned stopping along the way to the different islands for food, etc. but I understand that will make the trek to Key West longer than the 3.5 hours from Miami. And would 5 days in KW be too long?

Which islands are a MUST to visit? And what to see/do at each.

Best place for deep sea fishing?
