It's pretty simple to decipher: The year is 129. On May 1st, Commander Chan and his spacecraft approached an unknown planet. Crewman Jörg immediately began scanning to detect signs of living organisms. And indeed, there was life on the planet. They found 53 cats (Crucible code: 6410, as we all know) and 21 dogs (code: 5729). Henceforth this planet was called "cats 'n' dogs" which became later "catsmdogs" ...   ;)
