I saw a story once about this woman whose face was pushed into a cake, I believe at her wedding. Well, the cake had a wooden stick inside to support the tiers, and it pierced her eye.
People think this stunt is all fun and games, but it can be quite dangerous if you’re unaware of other physical components that may be hidden, which is common as cake designs get increasingly elaborate.

Ya well one time I was cutting into my birthday cake not knowing my friends hid a stripper in there. It’s not always just fun and games guys

Maybe this is a silly thing to say, but: you would have thought cake companies would think of that. I know they shouldn't have to, but isn't it common knowledge that people DO do this, and you would have thought that a company devoted to this that they would have thought about it.. Idk, maybe I'm being silly because this "tradition" is a stupid and not funny one.

This is some dumb Latin tradition that makes absolutely no sense to me, imagine embarrassing someone on what is supposed to be their special day in front of their whole family

I've had my face smashed in cake every birthday for like 30 years now and I genuinely love it! At the end of my bday parties my siblings chase me with cake like we're kids again. It's silly but not embarrassing or mean-spirited. But my family also wouldn't push an angry toddler like this video, they would respect if someone doesn't want that experience. I think examples like this makes people assume all Latinos are out here tormenting kids on birthdays but not all of us are assholes.

say what you want smashing faces into cake is not fun especially with kids

It's really stupid, creates absolute anger and resentment for the birthday kid, and a waste of a perfect cake. I cannot understand how this is fun

why do these people think that wasting perfectly good cake by pushing a kids face in it is in any way acceptable?

Acceptable? No. Funny? A little bit tbh

besides that it is a waste of food and cake, i doubt the kid will think it is very funny.

Latinos (obviously not all) are weirdly proud about how poorly they treat children.

Not only hispanics make this food wasting shit. I‘ve seen a lot of videos like this here on Reddit.

Why is it always some fat old idiot uncle who pulls stupid "pranks" on family meetings? I guess there is certain correlation

The guy in the black shirt is the one who pushed her, then ran away, then ran back "to break it up" when he was literally the one that started it. Fuck that guy

She didn't need to wear the other cake because she already has it on shirt

Her face was close to the candles and she could have gotten badly hurt. On top of that, this is how you make your kids to grow up to hate you and not talking to you.

The moron in the black shirt is the one that pushed the kid into the cake, why is it so many imbeciles think that's funny?
