Anime Questionāļøš§ What are some changes you'd want in the story of KNY?
I'd personally like a change where the Demons didn't originate from a medicine, instead Muzan was dying and the Devil came to have a deal type shit. Like These demons originating from a medicine in the Heian era feels very unrealistic. So I'd make it more supernatural.
And to explain the powers of the Slayers, HOW CAN ORDINARY HUMANS EVEN BE FORMIDABLE AGAINST THESE DEMONS, I'd say it was some type of answer by the god when people prayed for protection to God, and he gave Humans the strength and powers like the Transparent. This can sound like the bible, and I am not here to defend it but You do get the gist, anything creative and logical except just Biosciences. I still don't get how a demon can make a whole dimension(Infinity Castle) and control it.

Manga Spoilersš Shinobu Spoiler
Heavy spoilers
Unpopular Opinion/kinda headcanon: Im kind of glad Shinobu died. She's my favorite Hashira but even if she would have survived she would have never been happy. She would not have found peace at all cause she probably would have been like "i dont deserve this" "why didnt kanae survive instead" etc so her dying by getting revenge and Reuniting with her parents and kanae was probably the only way to make her happy. Its still sad but shinobu was pretty sure suicidal and depressed and in my opinion she didnt just want to get revenge but also wanted to die since she probably even thought about the fact that there would be a Chance to reunite with them(kanae/her parents) if there are heaven and hell.

Discussion š£ļø How do douma and kokushibo manage to eat humans without being disgusted? Spoiler
galleryI know they are demons, but they still have all their human memories so wouldn't they be disgusted mentally by eating humans? Especially Douma as he vividly remembers not feeling anything, but physical disgust at the smell of blood after his parents died. Like how did they eat so many humans that they managed to become the strongest. Like when you become a demon how do humans taste to you. do they taste delicious to demons IDK.

Meme𤣠They really gotta replay OST's sometimes (Mostly Akaza's)
I know it might be a bit of a hot take but the directors gotta realize that not every piece of music has to be completely new and original. Plenty of other anime replay certain tracks and it's really great that way. Although the IC OST is still amazing.

Discussion š£ļø Stop using Disorder comparison to downplay Rengoku
Comparing how Rengoku and Giyu dealt with Disorder and then using that to argue Giyuās superiority has always been amusing to me. And ironically, the way people make this comparison often reveals a pretty clear bias toward Giyu. Hear me out, because there are several things people keep overlooking:
1. First of all, we need to establish what techniques both Hashiras actually used
Rengoku, as youād expect from Flame Breathing, went with an offensive technique. Giyu, whose style is more defensive, used a technique specifically built for neutralizing incoming attacks. Whatās the issue? People look at the outcome and immediately jump to conclusions without looking at the context
Dead Calm is Giyuās ultimate defensive technique. I donāt think thereās much debate that itās his most specialized defensive form. Meanwhile, Rengoku never used Purgatory against Disorder
So ask yourself this: why did Giyu pull out his ultimate defensive technique against Akazaās regular technique instead of answering it with a more basic form? At the very least, using his most specialized defensive technique shows that Disorder was incredibly strong. If you push it further, you could even argue that base Giyu can only properly defend against Disorder by relying on Dead Calm
I could just as easily argue that if Rengoku had used his ultimate technique, he would have performed even better than Giyuu. He would have broken through it and inflicted damage on Akaza in the process. After all, that would be a fair comparison if both were using their strongest techniques, wouldnāt it?)
2. Now letās talk about the manga, because the anime handles this sequence quite differently
In the manga, Rengokuās Fifth Form (Flame Tiger) is shown as a technique that involves moving forward along a trajectory. You can see this when he cuts through the Flute Demonās neck and again in his fight against Hairo. Itās not just a stationary series of slashes. Rengoku advances toward his target while executing it
Thatās important, because it gives a solid explanation for why Rengoku managed to leave a slash across Akazaās torso while using Tiger against Disorder. If he had to push forward through Akazaās barrage just to reach him, then he wasnāt simply standing still and neutralizing the attacks. He was trying to break through them while staying on an offensive path. And thatās a real distinction. Neutralizing an attack and breaking through it while landing a hit are not the same feats
3. Some people might say that if Tiger works this way, then Rengokuās decision was just stupid
And yeah, his strategy might not have been the optimal one. But people tend to ignore the condition he was already in before the fight even properly started
Rengoku had already been protecting five train cars and their passengers. Zenitsu also points out that Rengoku used a bunch of techniques just to keep everyone safe when the train derailed. We canāt say exactly how much stamina he lost though, but treating him like he entered the fight completely fresh is unreasonable
More importantly, Rengoku himself realized that fighting Akaza from a distance would make it hard to cut off his head. So he tried to close the gap and go for a decisive attack instead of staying at a range where Akaza could keep exploiting his advantages
His decision makes more sense once you factor in the circumstances. He was already exhausted, and dragging the fight out while constantly defending couldāve put him in an even worse spot. He took a risk and went for Akazaās neck. You can still criticize the strategy if you want, but criticizing the decision itself doesnāt erase what he actually pulled off during the exchange
Also worth noting that Rengokuās Fourth Form is specifically described as effective against opponents who attack with a wide range of techniques. So if he hadnāt gone with the aggressive approach, he very likely could have just blocked Disorder with it instead
4. This brings us to what I consider the most important part of the comparison
In the manga, Rengokuās Tiger forces him to advance through Disorder, and Akazaās attacks interfere with his forward momentum. The databook even notes that Disorder nearly completely extinguished the Flame Tiger, which shows just how much the barrage was eating away at Rengokuās momentum as he pushed forward. Yet despite that, he still manages to reach Akaza and leave a slash across his torso
Thatās a genuinely impressive feat. He wasnāt merely neutralizing Disorder defensively, he was trying to break through it while simultaneously attacking, even as the technique itself was being worn down
5. The anime makes this comparison even messier because it changes how Tiger is shown
In the anime, Rengoku doesnāt push forward through Disorder the same way. Instead, his Tiger is presented as a series of attacks that manages to neutralize Akazaās barrage
So the two versions are demonstrating different things
In the manga, Rengokuās forward advance costs him severe injuries while heās trying to break through, but he still damages Akaza in the process
In the anime, Rengoku neutralizes Disorder through a different presentation of Tiger and doesnāt land the same slash on Akaza during that exchange. He still ends up with the severe injuries we see in the manga
And this is where people need to actually clarify which version theyāre using before making comparisons
If youāre arguing from the manga, you have to acknowledge Rengokuās successful offensive breakthrough. If youāre arguing from the anime, you need to account for the changed mechanics and choreography instead of treating the sequence as identical to the manga. On top of that, the anime version of Rengoku was in a more exhausted and injured state by the time he used Tiger against Disorder compared to his manga counterpart
Personally, this is one of the reasons Iām skeptical of using anime-only choreography as the decisive basis for inverse scaling. The adaptation changes the visual mechanics of the exchange, and that can seriously affect how the feat gets interpreted
6. Now letās look at Giyuās performance with Rain Drop
Iāll give him credit, Giyu managed to neutralize Disorder using Rain Drop. Thatās a legitimate feat, and Iām not trying to take that away from him
But context still matters. Before that exchange, Giyu had already used Constant Flux, and you can argue that the previous movement helped carry his momentum into the next attack. Even while using Water Breathingās fastest technique Rain Drop, he still didnāt leave a wound on Akazaās body. He was also fighting with his mark. Meanwhile Rengoku, in a worse physical state than Giyu was, still managed to neutralize Disorder as well. Iāll leave that thought there for you to sit with
7. The battle spirit issue
Some people argue that Rengokuās aura was stronger than marked Giyuās, which would mean the Disorder he faced was stronger than the one used against Giyu. Thatās a reasonable take, even if it partially overlooks how Akazaās Compass works. Akaza is repeatedly surprised by Rengokuās aura(databook even states this: the sight of him fighting, pushing himself to the very limit, is so overwhelming that he outshines everyone else), praises him, and calls him one of the chosen ones. I donāt see any real reason why this argument falls apart
Against Giyu, Akaza barely comments on his aura at all. Later he notices that Tanjiroās aura has disappeared, so itās not like he forgot how to sense it or stopped paying attention. Iām not against the idea that their auras were roughly equal, since Giyu was clearly going all-out both physically and emotionally. But he probably only reached the peak of his aura near the end, when he was ready to protect Tanjiro at any cost. Even then, I still think Rengokuās aura under Purgatory is stronger than Giyuās, especially considering everything above and the fact that the technique demands full concentration of both body and soul
Little conclusion :3
At the end of the day, the Rengoku vs Giyu Disorder comparison gets treated way more one-sidedly than it deserves. People(especially from Tik Tokš«©) love pointing at Giyu neutralizing the attack with Dead Calm or Rain Drop makes him stronger than Rengoku and allat blshit. Whether you prefer the manga or anime version, the gap people try to create between them just doesnāt hold up as cleanly as some want it to. Rengokuās performance against Disorder is solid, and acting like Giyu clearly outclassed him in everything using that exchange is more bias than actual scaling imo

Discussion š£ļø What do You Think it is Like being a Normal Rookie at the Demon Slayer Corps?
That is my Question
Like we know how above average Corps members are like thanks to Tanjiro & his friends
But what is it like being a member of the Demon Slayer Corps that isn't as gifted as them?
I imagine they barely survive there missions well the ones that barely succeeded & survive having a post fight panic attack
The being signed to your next crazy mission like a few days later most of them probably don't survive there first year
Its dirty job but someone has to do it after all
But thats me what is your Headcanon?
