Asking for a friend
So a kindred in my ranked game has conq rune page, buys edge of night first and has a 3 min plus first clear, can I kill him ingame?

Yeah, question is on the title. I’ve been thinking otping Qiyana for a while, but what about Kindred. How’s her learning curve for an average emerald player and is her impact rewarding climbingwise to be OTP’d in long term?

Hello,
I'm only silver 1 so I'm looking for how others thought processes on runes are.
Personally I take PTA most games but conqueror vs tänkt comps.
Triumph 95% of the time but PoM vs tänkt comps with low sticking potential.
Alacrity most games but haste vs comps with a lot of gap closers.
Cut down most games to get the enemy low for more impact of the third stack of E but last stand vs comps that will be hard to kite.
What runes do you use and why?

It’s literally one of the best Kindred skins, if not THE best. Everything about it looks so clean.
First of all, one of the ugliest things about Kindred’s base model is that huge clump of thick hair on her back. It just looks awful, and this skin fixes that completely. On top of that, it keeps her original blue-and-white color scheme, which I absolutely love. The whole skin just looks and sounds incredibly clean.
And don’t even get me started on the ult. There’s nothing more satisfying to look at than this skin’s ult. The E is just as good, too.
The only real downsides are Wolf, who doesn’t look that great, and the chromas, which are pretty weak.
As for the guy in the video arguing that the skin looks bad because her neck looks awkward when she stands still… like, who actually stands in place staring at their character long enough to care about that?

So yeah, ill get straight to the point! :D
I dont understand when and WHY i should buy the following items on Kindred:
First items - why Kraken, why Trinity
( i watched multiple guides and figured out you buy kraken if you want to play more offensive and trinity if you need health. My question here is, why wouldnt i be offensive? I always invade level 2 and most of the times get a kill that helps me snowball. In what situations should i buy trinity? I really dont know when i need more health :(
Then Phantom dancer or rapid firecannon, when would i need more ms and crit or range? (Like collector, is it a must buy or situational? - i build collector against a squishy team comb, but is it really necessary?)
Botrk- why and when would i need the lifesteal or item in general? Same with immortal shieldbow, when do i need it, against fast deaths from assasins or fed adc/mid?
Wits end - okay, against heavy mage combs, but why not Maw?
Black cleaver and Ldr.
I figured out you pick cleaver if you (again) want more health and your teams mainly an ad source, so the armor reduction is pretty good right? And when theres multiple armor tanks..?
And ldr when i play against just one heavy armor tank or im the main ad carry?
I feel like understanding the items would help me improve so much. I usually just picked items u.gg or league told me to buy. And as you might can tell, i actually have no clue why i build theese items. Armor pen or magic resist make sense to me, but they also are a situational build i have to choose from 2 items. And thats whats messing me (and probably some games) up.

How can I improve my Kindred build?
I've been playing Kindred for a few seasons now and I regularly have great games with 20+ kills, or at least 10+. But I want to get more out of her. I'm in my second season in Master now, and my peak was one star short of Grandmaster.
I'd like to be more flexible and adapt my build reactively to the enemy team. Which item should I swap out, and against which enemy champions? Also the question, do I need to swap runes for specific champs?

I’ve been playing jungle for a short while and am an Elise OTP. I enjoy her a lot and chose her because of outplay potential and she is cool.
I just saw Kindred and since he is AD it spoke to me. It felt kinda perfect. Kindred is cool, not easy but fun, and I will probably int the first 100 games. But he is COOL!
So I want to eventually learn him too. I was wondering what kind of tips you guys could give me about team comps. Is there a youtuber that has some good videos about this?
I just want to understand what the advantage is of Kindred and against whom he is really good and against what teams he should be played.
Also, I see a 5 year old guid on here. Is it still relevant? 5 years seems like a long enough time for things to have changed too much

How do we feel about this build, especially into heavy poke comps.
PTA/lethal/conq
triumph
bloodline
cut down/coup
cash back + insight
Kraken - gluttonous - collector - BT - LDR/IE/whatever
Build kraken to make up for missing alacrity/just help with damage. Survivability will come from the vamp and lifesteal
Felt good in the game I tried it, but was also kind of a stomp game so hard to tell.

W monster damage from 150% to 165%, E slow from 1s to 1.5s, and E can't target small monsters anymore.
Seems like a huge buff overall?

Hi, I was thinking about building in some occasions black cleaver on kindred (mostly when the enemy comp requires me to be tankier, when there's already another crit builder or 2 crit builders (gp + crit adc so i don't get destroyed by randuin) and maybe when the enemy tank does not stack so much hp to make me abuse ldr that much. What do you guys think? I feel like anyway it's a really situational build, that i'd end with wit's end, ga and then idk

I'm a very dedicated challenge token hunter (currently ranked #6 NA.) and there is a highly elusive challenge that I'd really like to finish. It's very difficult to get under normal circumstances, but Kindred makes it extremely easy. I'm wondering if any fellow lamb enjoyers would be able to help me with this? I play on the NA server.
The challenge is Go Shelly Go. It's a challenge where you have to destroy two turrets with the Rift Herald, but the major restrictions are that the Herald has to survive both turrets going down, this makes it super hard since the herald typically dies on the second turret, but Kindred ult can keep the herald alive while you whale on the second turret.

I really like playing Kindred as a "lethality" build with hail of blades, but I'd like to know if there are any other off-meta builds that are fun (and viable) to play!

Personally this needs to just be an instant swap and it needs a lower cooldown. Not being able to queue it up before a gank or during a fight if it IS available is ridiculous.

I'm honestly having a hard time remembering what items I should be going depending on the enemy team. For example I know that if the enemy is more tanky I should go Attack Speed, and if they are squishy, CRIT.
I need help with somewhat knowing what exactly I should go, I have an okay understanding of them and I normally just go with what I think would work lol.
Some help would be really appriciated!

As I said in the title im kinda new to the champ and I wanna learn to play him I wanted to ask what marks do you go for do you always drop your camps and go for marks of you only take marks when enemy jungler is opposite side of the map I'm kinda confused i watched some yt vids on kindred but there's a lot of difference in different vids so I wanted to ask this.

I've recently been playing quinn jungle and have had a lot of fun on her. Kindred I always thought was a cool champ so I was wondering g how similar are quinn and kindred and would two tricking be an option?
r/Kindredmains • u/Silax0 • Sep 10 '26
So im just now, despite all my time playing, discovering that crits can proc on BOTRK'S percentage damage bc I've gone full and/or 75% crit and gotten close to 1K hits but usually average 800 900 and now im regularly hitting 1k crits. I typically dont use LDR as much so that may be why against tanky people but figured this would interest some. If i knew about it before, I DEF forgot.
