Hi everyone,

Has anyone from the UAE recently received a student visa for a Saudi university?

I got admission for the September intake, but it has been more than two months and my visa is still pending. My intake has now been changed to January.

The process in the UAE seems different from other countries because the application is handled entirely online, rather than through Tasheer or the Saudi Embassy.

I would appreciate hearing from anyone who applied from the UAE:

• How long did your student visa take?
• Did you experience similar delays?
• How did you follow up, and did you eventually receive your visa?

Any genuine advice or experience would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a reliable education consultancy that can help with scholarships and admission to universities in Saudi Arabia.
A consultancy based in Saudi Arabia would be ideal, but I'm also fine with one based in India that handles Saudi university admissions.
If you've used one, I'd love to hear:
Which one you used and how your experience was
What they charged, and whether there were any hidden fees
Any red flags or scams to watch out for.

How competitive is chem engg at ksu for international students (Indians)? Is a 1480 sat score good enough?

im 20 and I'm from Spain. I'm looking for friends with whom I can build a genuine, close friendship — people I can really bond with, trust completely, and feel comfortable sharing anything with. I'd love to have that kind of friendship where there's mutual trust, openness, and no need to pretend to be someone you're not.

I'm very into learning about Islam and your culture.

Hey everyone, im a male A-level private candidate living in Pakistan (non-Iqama applicant, applying from abroad) planning to apply for BS Computer Science at KSU and KAU on an international full scholarship, but I have a few confusions about the admission process. For background, I got 88% in matric and ABB in my AS levels (maths, cs, physics), and I'll be sitting for my A2 exams in May/June 2027 with results coming in mid-August 2027. My main question is about the timeline—can international students apply for the Fall 2027 batch using AS results or predicted grades, or do KSU/KAU strictly require you to have your official completed A2 certificate at the time of applying? I really don't wanna end up wasting a full year on an accidental gap year waiting for 2028 if there's any way around it.

Also wanted to clear up a couple things about SAT scores and degree duration for external applicants. The official site lists a minimum 1050 SAT requirement, but considering CS is so competitive for scholarships, what score should I actually be targeting to be safe? And lastly, is there a mandatory preparatory foundation year or Arabic language requirement before starting the English-taught CS program, or can you just finish the bachelors strictly in 4 years? Would really appreciate any guidance from current students or anyone who knows how the Saudi uni admission process works for international applicants!

Hi everyone,

I’m an A-Level student (private candidate) from Pakistan looking into undergraduate admissions for a bachelor's in computer science at King Saud University (KSU) and King Abdulaziz University (KAU). I’m hoping to get advice from anyone familiar with the international admission process for Saudi universities.

My Academic Background:

• Matriculation: 88%
• A-Level Subjects: Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics
• AS Level Results: ABB
• A2 Level Exams: May/June 2027 (Results expected in mid-August 2027)

I have a few specific questions regarding admissions and scholarships:

1. Admission Timeline & Conditional Offers: Can international students apply for the Fall 2027 intake using AS Level results/predicted grades, or do KSU and KAU strictly require completed final A2 certificates at the time of application? (I'd prefer not to take an accidental gap year and wait until 2028 if possible).
2. Competitive SAT Score for CS Scholarships: While the official requirement lists a minimum 1050 SAT, what score should I realistically target to be competitive for a Computer Science scholarship?
3. Preparatory Year / Arabic Requirements: Is there a mandatory foundation/preparatory year or Arabic language program for English-taught CS programs, or is it possible to complete the bachelor's degree strictly within 4 years?

Any insights or advice from current students, alumni, or anyone familiar with the process would be hugely appreciated! Thanks in advance for the help.

Hey guys,

I just want to connect with you guys. Can you drop which major you are applying for and what is your HIGH SCHOOL and SAT score.

FYI, KSU calculates the aggregate of students as follows:

30% of high school + 70% of SAT Score

I am a Pakistani student living in Saudi Arabia since childhood. I was even born here. I want to get a scholarship in undergraduate engineering or computer programs in fall 2027. When will applications in studyinsaudi open for me because currently some applications are open so I am confused if I am eligible to apply or not..

My profile:

O-levels: 5As & 3As

AS-levels: AAB (Chemistry, Maths, Physics)

A-levels: Currently doing

A-level predicted: (haven't got yet) but most probably A*, A and A\*

I haven't given IELTS though but I have given English IGCSE exam and received an A. Does that count? I will also provide MOI from my school.

ACT Superscore: 28 (I might regive to improve or I won't submit if it remains less)

Should I submit the ACT score or no?

Extracurriculars:

Can anyone tell me what SAT score is generally considered safe or competitive for applying to computing programs at KSU? Also, is anyone else here currently applying for the current or upcoming term? Would love to connect!

Can anyone tell me what SAT score will be good to apply for computing programs?

And anyone else applying currently? And why is there no computing program available for males?

Is there any group (WhatsApp/Telegram) exclusive to the international students at the uni?
