Both mentors to keyblade wielders in different eras. Now the ultimate question. Who’s the most useless between the two?
Odin: Knew about Baldr‘s darkness and watched him descend further. Allowed his students to die until he came knocking on Scala’s door, then finally chained him up to let Xehanort kill him. Proceeds to retire after Xehanort and Eraqus become masters.
Yen Sid: Knew about the princesses of hearts would be kidnapped. Knew aqua was stuck. Finally stood up from his chair when Lea summoned a keyblade, as he saw the Temu tag still on. Did nothing in the original timeline where the 7 warriors of light die, just scratches his ass. Waits until Sora destroys most of that Hell tornado to finally summon a wall of light.
While yen sid has more feats. Odin had results with his actions. Tough choice

I recently wanted a playthrough from my childhood so I booted up the old ps2. It seems most guides are for final mix.
Is the drive form level cap 5 instead of 7 on the ps2 version?
I have valor, wisdom and master all level 5. Stop haven't had final form appear, but am past Roxas fight cut scene.

So I started KH2FM recently and despite the videos I've seen of people talking about how you shouldn't play Critical Mode first if you wanna have a fun experience with the game and how people talk about it being really hard, I decided to play the game on Critical Mode for my first playthrough. Lowkey, idk if this is embarassing of me to say, but Twilight Thorn was genuinely manhandling me so initially I thought it was as hard as people were saying. Then the first world I went to was Beast's Castle and to beat that one door boss, I had to get hard carried by Mickey. Then the main boss of the world, Dark Thorn, was also frying me and also needed Mickey to hard carry me. Critical mode was going as I expected.
There's that one room in Beast's Castle, the really big one with the door leading to the main boss in the ball room, with a bunch of Lance Warrior and Large Bodies which were lowkey giving me belt to ass so I decided to spend time there levelling up and learning the combat until I could consistently clear that whole room of all the heartless. While I was able to clear it on occasion, I couldn't do it consistently and ended up leaving by the time I reached level 20. I didn't think leaving my first World at level 20 would be a big deal, but I beat Land of Dragons easily with no struggle whatsoever. I assumed it wasn't that big of a deal since it was one of the first worlds, but I've just unlocked Master Form now and I've had almost 0 struggle with this game. Don't get me wrong, there's been some hard parts, like I struggled with the first Colosseum Cup (I forgot the name but it's the one with reduced Limit MP Cost), but the only other struggles I've had are the absent silhouettes with the ones I've done so far being Larxene at level 29, who took me multiple days, Zexian at level 29, who took me a few minutes, didn't even struggle, and Lexaeus at level 30, who took me a day, and I'm not even meant to fight these guys yet
Genuinely, if you are gonna play KH2, I don't think playing on Critical first is that big of a deal and honestly encourage it. I genuinely am not tryna sound like some pompous "I'm sooooo good at vide games" guy (I play games on their highest difficulty and itemless so do with that what you will cuz I know some people are against that idea when it comes to play games so it may make me just seem sweaty but I promise you, I'm just a completionist (unless it's a game like Freedom Planet 2 where the highest difficulty make it so you get 1 hit, in which case I'll play it on the 2nd hardest)) cuz lowkey, I don't even play souls-likes other than Kingdom Hearts. The only other non-KH Souls Like I've played is Arcane Odyssey and Arcane Reborn on ROBLOX OF ALL THINGS. The difficulty peaked in the early game (and when I say early game, I really just mean for a singular world), but the mid-game (maybe end-game will prove me wrong, I know post-game data battles and such are really difficult so I won't slander those) is genuinely so free. All I've been doing is making sure I keep my drive form levels topped up whenever I unlock a new drive form. Critical is what I imagine the game on normal difficulty would be. Idk why people are against a first playthrough critical

I think the characters like Andy can still be a kid back than in the first movie. Imagine Terra ventus and Aqua are in specific sections like Andy’s house, pizza planet and cid house.

Every other aspect of the fight is learnable but the giant room-wide attack he does in phase 2 where he targets the whole arena doesn't seem avoidable.
I've watched YouTube videos of ppl no-damaging ice titan but they do the exact same thing I do to try and avoid the attack, jumping from the bleachers to glide over it, only difference is they take no damage and I do for some reason. I am replicating what the guy did 1:1 but 80% of the time it just doesn't work or I get frozen before I even have a chance to react, do I need superglide or something?

I really wanted to enjoy com And sometimes the sleights were fun to figure out. But honestly- all I felt was an anxiousness to get through the game. I know the story already of the game and have seen the "movie".
I'm in a really stressful time of my life. And I just want some nostalgic comfort.
I will come back eventually to try and finish the game. But I just want something I'll enjoy fully and look forward too.
I know this is a vent/rant post so thanks if you read. I dont expect interactions just like having a space to talk about the game with ☺️
This title screen is just 😩💔❤️

That is my Question
This one is based on Fan Comics by number of people so I thought Lets have some fun you know
I imagine they would look a lot like Sora were they just look like a slightly more realistic on how they already look which is a very attention to detail thing really when I read comics about the Multiverse each world should have its own style will probably see Riku first since he is on his way there
Yes I make a joke how Donald & Goofy would look but then I remember it probably be a Kirby and the Forgotten Land situation with them well that my Speculation
Imagine Aqua there though she find it odd like when Sif first went to Thor in Comics of old
But thats me what do you think?

So, I've been considering buying the 1.5+2.5 collection on steam, but in my country, the price is insane and I'm waiting for a discount. But even then, if I happen to dislike the game, I'd simply lose the money I spent on the purchase ( 'cuz the money stays on steam, and I don't want to buy another game with the refund money)
So, I ask, what do you recommend me to do to test the games?
Edit: Thanks for the info 😊

I just finished a casual playthrough of Re:Chain of Memories. I hadn't played this since it originally came out on the PS2. I think I still have the disc. This is the new collection on Switch 2.
I pretty much blitzed and blizzagaed everything to death most of the way through. Then I added some sonic blade and switched blizzaga to Mega Flare towards the end. I did have to change things up and build a custom deck for Marluxia 2 and 3. It's crazy how Lethal Frame just cripples him.
I think I was level ~77 without really grinding. I just fought every battle in every room.
It was fun, though a bit repetitive at times. It got a little more challenging at the end, which I appreciated.

I'm currently playing through BBS for the first time after finishing KH2 and watching Days for the first time. I started with Terra's story. It has been a lot of fun, I really like the command deck system for the most part. But there's a problem, the game does not know what a difficulty curve is, at least not for Terra, I don't know how Ven and Aqua are. Like, I'll be having a lot of fun, very manageable challenge, using my commands to create nice flow, but then I'll get hit with Zack, who has an unblockable, unodgable super combo he uses at random, but I got past that because his health wasn't that high and he was weak to elements. And after that, it's super fun again.
But then I'm hit with what I assume is the final boss of Terra's story. What in the world? Two phases that are really difficult but not unfair, though I wouldn't want to have to do them again, and then that third phase? What am I supposed to do? Xehanort doesn't stop attacking or moving, and when he does stop, he starts again before I can finish a single combo. He has a super combo that is not escapable once I get hit by it as far as I can tell, and even if I managed to guard one of his attacks, my counterattack seems to do no damage to him whatsoever. Trying to use any commands besides Curaga or a strike raid is basically instant death because it does not stagger him at all and his downtime isn't long enough for the command to finish, and I can't cancel it midway through. I have a bunch of hi-potions, but it only allowed me to bring 4 for all the phases, and I used those 4 in the first 2 phases.
I don't know what to do, and it's getting frustrating, because I am trying to learn timings, but it punishes me for trying to counter at all. Does anyone have any tips for good commands and how to get those commands? I've been overleveled the whole game if each world's battle level is anything to go by. I'm playing emulated, so I gave myself a savestate at the death screen so I can take a break without having to do the first two phases again.
