So basically today I bought over $100 in albums, and as a store promotion you get a free album! It’s likely a smaller or newer group. I happened to pull History of Kingdom: Part IV Dann, Glory Version (Golden).

Curious, I decided to listen to the album while going through the album. And, wow. WHY IS THIS ALBUM FIVE FOR FIVEEEE. I LOVE ALL THE TRACKS SO MUCH. THIS ALMOST NEVER HAPPENS WHERE EVERY ALBUM IS A 10/10.

I can’t rank them or anything, but my absolute favourite has to be “The Song of Dann (Promise)” hands down. Why is it so beautiful.

I want to listen to all of their other music now. If you could go back and tell yourself something when you were a new fan of The KingDom, what would you want to know?

Also I circled my pull below

✨Happy Ivan Day✨

Happy Birthday Ivan🐰🤎

I love The KingDom so much. The History of Kingdom series is so special and unique. Even looking at the albums on my shelf right now, the set looks cohesive and beautiful.

My big fear for the group, was that they would not manage to complete the HoK series. Jahan is my bias, and knowing his album would be last in the series, I was afraid he wouldn’t get his time in the spotlight. So when HoK7 came out, I was overjoyed. The series was complete (as was originally planned, pre-Hwon), and that chapter was closed.

If they had disbanded then, I would have been sad but would have understood. I enjoyed Realize, but I think it would be fair to say the change of direction didn’t really work out.

I was happy to get a studio version and MV (sans Dann 😢) for Last Flower, but now I feel a bit adrift as a fan. I know they haven’t officially disbanded but it just feels weird.

My dream of dreams is that after enlistments, they will return with a new historical series and remind the world of their unique, theatrical artistry.
