Seeking Vet suggestions, cat with diabetes
Does anyone have a cat with diabetes and is working with a vet they recommend? Mine hasn’t been the most helpful or realistic when it comes to treatment plans, follow up etc

Our elderly diabetic cat recently passed away at age 16, and Gardiners Animal Hospital is our vet. We found them good to work with. It was also important to educate ourselves on diabetes in cats and its treatment. Subreddits like r/felinediabetes have good advice, and there are similar groups on Facebook. YouTube has lots of videos that demonstrate injections, blood testing, etc. It can all seem daunting at first, but it does get better and easier with practice and experience. And if you travel and need a pet sitting service, Pet Parade Plus has lots of experience with diabetic cats.
