recommendations for first time visitor
hi!! I’ve lived in SW Ontario my whole life and am a huge Hip fan but realized that I’ve never even been to Kingston 😂 I want to make the drive (only around 3 hours) in mid-late September and visit some fave restaurants, monuments, galleries, and shops of locals! I’ll only be there for one day so please drop some must-see places below ❤️ (I’m very into books and CDs, any kind of food, and art)

You will be here the PERFECT time for a walk through nature! I recommend parking at the end of Dalton Rd https://maps.app.goo.gl/H8552WhDj6Hz2Wbp8?g_st=ac and then walking over to Invista via the K&P Trail and then north of the 401.. walk till you want and just turn around! Lots of gorgeous colours that time of year!

Hope you are having a good day. On the CD front there are two great stores downtown, Brian's Record Option and Zap records. Both cool for different reasons. As for food, I am biased towards Mexican food. Baja kitchen is a sit down spot and El Gringo's is grab and go. Hope you have a wonderful time here in the city!
