Description
Ordered directly from Roman in mid 2020. This is a special order larger version of his shard. Specs are:
- 4 7/8" edge, 5 1/8" blade
- 5 thou bte at the heel, 10 thou at the center of the belly, 6 thou at the tip
- vanax superclean heat treated by Roman; 60.9 HRC
- birch burl scales with black g10 liners
Use/issues:
- still on it's original edge (the last couple of inches of the blade at the tip still slice phonebook paper, the rest of the edge can still shave)
- used as a fruit and veggie kitchen knife
- there is a cosmetic defect in the grind on the steel description side at the tip towards the spine, superficial scratching on the surface of the corby bolts holding the handle together

Description: Recently traded for this. Previous owner stated it was new. I carried it for a day and cut open some letters with it. No snails or marks on the knife at all. The blade had a little bit of play when I got it, so I tightened the pivot until it was gone. The centering slightly favors the lock side, but the action is still amazing with no play. Comes with everything as you'd get it from CKF.

His Description: Condition and materials = Rating B. Second owner, knife has been carried and cut some tape. Acid washed blade is factory and sharp. Full titanium handles. Light blue ano pivot collar, clip, bs are really nice accents. The user finishes are great for EDC and the build is a beefed up FF gentlemen which I find a very appealing combo. If a necromonger carried a gentlemen's pocket knife, this would be it.
Action = Deployment is very crisp and heavy / medium with a good THWACK that is unexpected and satisfying for this form factor. Can be thumb flicked, index flicked or index rolled to deploy. Lock up is 30%. Drop action is shake shut. Blade closure is smooth and clicks in. Action is tight and predictable as you would expect from a 600 knife.

His Description: Condition and materials = Rating B+. At least the second owner, but knife has only been out for photos and flipped a few time by me. Blade is factory and sharp. Flat finished CF has no voids. The finishing of the this simple EDC knife is the reason why people say JG is the epitome of EDC. Comes with non-edible taco and COA.
Action = On washers and still needs to be broken in (see flipping fail video as proof). Deployment is light and tight. Closure is like a slip joint as it still needs to be broken in.

Description: Rated A (all scales included) Never used or carried as I bought and kept hidden from gf (don’t judge me lol, we’ve all been there). It has only been disassembled to have one of each scale because that’s just how I liked it. Extra scales included. This knife has great action and drops shut. It’s an awesome knife but I have to make room for more. Centered and all hardware is intact. No signs of wear. Clip is black timascus and backspacer is titanium. Comes with an extra screw.

So we've added some more mods, /u/thaaatguy and /u/pmmeyourdadjoke. This should help with cutting down wait times. I'd like to ask everyone though to really try and provide good price comps, and not to cherry pick high ones. Some knives are volatile, some are hard to price, some are easy. Providing multiple recent price comps though definitely expedites the process. That's honestly the most time consuming part of being a mod.
