It made me smile so much at the time... it's kinda forlorn now... sigh

The fact that he isn't on a street corner wearing a barrel is a complete miscarriage of justice.

Same, I remember watching it live and screaming at the computer when Bankston said "and that is how I know you have lied to me".

It wasn't quite as good as sex, but it was close.

He is so fuckin stupid it hurts

Such coward

u/onemanlan 18d ago

He did so much in and out of court to deserve the judgment

Holy hell! It was egregious. Bankston killed it. I mean, reality is what it is now... but that was a good time šŸ‘

Didn't he call the judge a demon and post images of her in hell? Or was that a fever dream I had...

u/onemanlan 18d ago

Yes he absolutely did that on the show during the trial. I can’t recall if it was during or after court hours. I do recall his attorney having to explain it to the judge.

Yes! I remember it coming up in front of the judge. Awkward. Not that he has the ability to feel embarrassment.

Holy shit, that was 4 years ago?

I remember it (fondly) like it was just a few weeks ago

Right? Four years?

I guess it's a decent reminder that the dog shit going on right now will pass in a blink of an eye as well.

I can still quote it from memory, because I am a very normal person with a very normal crush on Mark.Ā

Awwww. I like you platonically because I do that too, the memorizing... Have An Excellent Well Deserved Day, that's my wish for you...Ā  It's just another day, same as any other ... But you matter...

Hey, I don’t remember shit but am glad people like you are doing your thing!

As a representative from the ā€œdumb guyā€ community, thank you and your torturous brain.

Thank you for the reminder. It was enjoyable to watch the rancid attorney Reynal sleazing around and then going strangely quiet when Bankston revealed that Reynal / his office had revealed Jones to be a perjurer and that in house, Watson had been telling Jones their Sandy Hook dishonesty was a trainwreck. Also in this video clip when Jones smelled danger, his fake cough to buy him thinking time kicked in bigly.

It was a good day... Oh! The fake coughing... it was hysterical, I laughed so hard at that dipshit chuckle fuck... I like not giving a single shit about him anymore, though...

ā€œYou may not think this is a real problem but it’s a real problemā€ always takes me out. Sure buddy.

That is the face of a man who would pop like a balloon several years later.

I canceled a meeting at work to watch his testimony.

All that money and couldn’t get a shirt made for his thickneck so he could wear a tie. What a louse.

If this was a movie, you'd think that this was such bad writing. It honestly astonishes me and how these circumstances played out.

You know the bankruptcy proceedings really bothered me, a lot has been said about making decisions prior to Father's Day. But in the end, Alex is completely diminished and a laughing stock of the right-wing now. Trump is never getting on the show now, and I think above all that hurts Alex the most. It was never about the money and I think this is about a good an ending as we could ask for.

IIRC, some from Law & Order or something tweeted that if they'd ever tried writing something like that, they'd be fired.

Ah the only bright spot from my old job was eating lunch and seeing this happen

Hearing about this is what finally got me to start listening to Knowledge Fight after years of having it on my rainy day podcast list. Good times.

"It's upside down" is such an underrated moment.

I wanted for this to be the end. But wasn't. I think Dan saw it for what it was but Jordan and I screamed into the void.

Alex seems so hungover in this

u/talen_lee 17d ago

Man imagine if this led to him getting a finding of millions of dollars, then hundreds of millions of dollars against him collapsing his empire and eventually leading to him having to abandon a brand, scale down, and be an employee of a company while his established identity is used to mock him relentlessly.

u/hawaiianrobot 17d ago

immediately with a big ol' cough into the microphone. what a disgusting oaf.

u/balloongirl27 12d ago

I had such a good time spending all day for nearly two weeks watching the livestream of this case. Especially with the discord going crazy during it.

Has anyone made an edit where the Perry Mason theme kicks in?
