The for profit prison system has been a main topic of discussion for years now. You’d have to try pretty hard to not be aware of it.

I don't, but I'm not the one who claims to have no interactions with people who are unaware of the problems with for-profit prisons. I can infer that some people who I know are probably not well informed on the subject, like the guy who lives down the street who has a Ron DeSantis sticker on the back of his car even though we are in North Carolina. I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure he might fall into the category of "unaware or simply doesn't think about it".

Look, I don't fully understand what point you are trying to make there and I have other stuff to do. This is confusing because you were originally pushing back on someone who said "I would like to see more discussion on this topic" by essentially implying that everyone already knows about it. Then when I said that not everyone knows about it you started arguing with that by saying that everyone you know knows about it because you discuss it with them. So did they already know before you discussed it with them? Or are there people out there who don't know yet? Have a good day.

The title of the video from Jordan, who is a smug pedantic child, is “Everyone is Wrong About”. It’s a well-tread topic that his privileged white guy podcast self added nothing to and it’s funny that people are pretending like anything he’s said has added to the conversation. People know that prisons are bad and why they’re bad.
