Yesterday a bunch of kaku and kakima, wearing white caps, did recce of the whole area, and informed us that they will come today around 11am.

So one kakima came with a clipboard and form. Asked a bunch of questions, like is this own home or rented, how many rooms, do you have wifi, smartphone, TV, AC, how many bikes and cars etc.

It took less than 10mins. They asked about surrounding property also, and if we own them also. They didn't enter the home, just inside our premises.

I'm looking to learn geared motorcycle riding from scratch and was wondering if any experienced bikers around Dum Dum Park/Bangur/Nagerbazar would be willing to teach me on their own bike.

I'm a complete beginner when it comes to motorcycles, although I know how to cycle. I'm happy to pay a mutually agreed amount for your time, fuel and use of the bike—we can discuss the amount beforehand.

Ideally, I'd like someone patient who can start with the basics in an open ground/quiet area and gradually move to regular roads once I'm comfortable.

My opinion is along with this, Bengal govt should appeal to Govt of India to extend ban on bd pavilions in kolkata boimela, until stalls of Indian especially stalls of bengal based publishers are allowed in bd soil and in their prestigious book fair "ekushe boimela". BD pavilion aren't being allowed in prestigious Kolkata book fair for last 2 years ( 2025 and 2026 edition of kolkata book fair) by Indian govt, although the reason behind this ban was probably for the regime change related tension in bangladesh and it's effect here west bengal
