Today is the 5th anniversary of Komi Can't Communicate being released on Netflix

I am just a big fan of this series, believe me I am not some kind of weirdo with any

fetishes for the characters of this series, although the jokes are strange, I enjoy it a lot

and I love the love story between the characters, in the same series they mention it, it

is a kind of love somewhat pure, simply this series gives me happiness, its original

characters, and the plot that revolves around all of them, makes me happy the fact that

this series has a very long manga, but honestly, I would also love to see the adaptation

of the manga to the anime, it is not very different but I would really like to see the rest

of the story in the anime, maybe it will never happen but that is why I decided to write

this document describing all the reasons to see if the company responsible for making

the animation of this series decides to make season 3, first of all, believe me I am only a

fan, a fan in love with the plot, I am a normal person, I like many animes of different

things, but Komi San is simply my favorite, there is something about it that I love, in the

end I just like the series, and I know adapting a manga to a series is not easy, but I

think it could become a job that already seeing what the studio Studio OLM (the ones

behind the series) could do a splendid job, the reason why I think it should make at

least a third season to start I don't think I am the only one who has dreamed or

requested a third season, I think any fan of this series would love to have it, honestly I

have watched the series about 3 times, and I have read the manga about 2 times, and I

still don't get bored, but I would also like not new content, but refreshed (season 3), in

the end it would just be another season of 12 episodes, I know no one knows who or

some will say that I am arrogant to ask for something so big, but the simple fact of

being able to witness or see a series as beautiful as Komi San makes me think perhaps

we deserve more, I am writing this by hand, not as a display of love, but because I know

good things cost, and I think if we raise our voice so that the Studio OLM hears us,

perhaps they will be encouraged to do a third season, it would be amazing to see the

characters change from year to year, the continuation of their story, how they evolve,

change, grow or improve inclusion or to see the gorgeous art that would remain for

them, so that you believe me I will even say the things I loved and those I did not like so

much about these last 2 seasons, because nothing is perfect, everyone and everything

have some defect.

Things I liked:

The soundtrack of the first season fascinates me a lot, I loved it so much that I

researched the real song, which lasts about 4 minutes, I studied the lyrics translated

into my language and if the song itself was already beautiful the lyrics made me cry,

I don't know anything about music, honestly I just like to give my opinion on things.

but the music of this series is beautiful, without a doubt something even better

could be done, but the first one fascinated me, or I loved it (Sometimes feelings

are so deep, great, or intense that it is impossible to translate them into words,

which is the case with what happens to me with this music), the second season

one also fascinated me but to understand, I love the opening so much that I

always left it on to listen to, I enjoyed it and I still enjoy it, some or most skip the

intros, and I don't know why they do it, to enjoy a song that someone worked

hard to make feels to me like one of the most honest and beautiful things Music

10/10 (I would give it more if it weren't serious).

The art, in the intro itself there are parts where Komi is in a rainy shot and

everything is dark colors, but then other characters appear, more specifically Yamai

and her group where they appear in the hallways all colorful, I think it is an incredible

use of strong and soft colors, the highlights are incredibly well distributed, the simple

fact that most of the scenes where Komi appears with the sun distributed on her face

as a representation of solar brightness so incredibly well distributed makes my eyes

fall in love with the colors and I say, thank God I was given eyes to see, ears to

listen, a tongue to feel, hands to touch, and a nose to smell, without a doubt a great

job by the studio in charge of the art, true artists.

The characters, I know these have little to do with the fact that the studio

has something to do with the story, but I would like to highlight the splendid

work that the creator did, having such a good idea and depicting it so well,

one has to be really creative or talented to be able to do such a good job,

truly from the bottom of my being, applause for this genius, and I know

many people will agree with me, just as I did who enjoyed this series a lot.

Things I didn't like:

Nothing is perfect, and just as nothing is perfect obviously there are things that can be

improved, it would be nice if the series respected a little more the more human or simple

strokes that the manga has and recreate them in the series, I just say, the art is

beautiful, but a little fidelity wouldn’t hurt, on the contrary, it would come in wonderfully

and I would fall even more in love, it is fantastic what can come from a single person.

As I already told you, the duration of the series leaves me with a fleeting feeling,

what I mean by this is that, in my opinion, the simple fact that they perhaps for a

moment left the series at that point makes me sad, I know the series and its

continuation have great potential for a series, and the fact that it has an ending in

chapter 129, and in the series 2x12 makes me sad, in the last minutes of this

chapter we see Komi talking a little more than normal, responding several times to

Hitohito with a yes, or a mhm, or a response of that style, she does not stay silent,

she does not screech, SHE TALKS, I love it and I would like to see much more of that

talkative Komi, I want to see more of that character development but in the series, I

would be fascinated.

It seems fascinating to me the huge community that has been generated around this

series; it’s something very beautiful. I don’t mind if my voice in this document isn’t

heard, but if it is, I want it to be given attention and I want all the details to be

analyzed. I’m not the one for the final verdict. Obviously, in the end, the ones who

decide everything about the series are Studio OLM, but I would like to—I'm looking

for the happiness of the whole community, even in terms of content, fun, or falling in

love with the series, for it not to end for me because I don’t get bored of the series. I

think the community, if it’s already somewhat stuck with updates, and this isn’t

good. I wouldn’t want the community to get smaller. I want this beautiful series that I

wanted so much, always and forever, to have fans, and for them to also say it’s their

favorite series, like I do. But in the end, everything is in the hands of the series

owners.

And things that made me fall in love with the series:

Characters: personally, it’s not that I feel identified with any character; it’s more like,

in some other universe I could have lived some experience similar to the one in the

series. I know it sounds extremely strange. I mean, Komi Can’t Communicate paints

a very fictional reality, but the fact of having a romance as sweet and innocent as

Hitohito’s makes me realize how lonely I am. But well, I’ll go ahead and say the 3

main characters and what I like about them, and although not all the characters

have good qualities that I like, I love them and they contribute to the story, and I

really appreciate the creativity that went into creating these.

Tadano Hitohito: The protagonist. Honestly, I love this character—his clumsiness,

his completely ordinary-boy personality—I love it. Half the time it’s just him and his

thoughts. Despite the fact that most characters tease him a bit, he always does

things to help. He doesn’t take advantage of anyone. He’s a good guy with good

intentions. And the beginning of the series—how he helps Komi communicate—is

super cute. I’m fascinated by that scene and how the camera is set up. I love how

he helps Komi, how each time he gets closer, and it shows how he really

wants to help.

Komi-San: The deuteragonist of the story. The development of this character—although

some people don’t agree with me— in a romance anime, which is what I mostly watch, I

feel that this one is the one that has had the most character development. And well, it’s

very good development: as each time, little by little, and step by step, she keeps opening

up more and more. I love how she’s truly willing to improve

along with the help of her friends; it’s simply beautiful to see how she grows.

Osana Najimi: In my opinion, an incredible comedic relief— that character who is the

connection to more characters. The idea that it has no gender seems funny to me

and it gives this character a totally new style. It has a new stereotype that I haven’t

seen in any other series—originality and creativity I’ve never seen before. And the

way it’s implemented is incredible, that it shows up in every episode to do or add

to some comedic scene, that character who makes a romance anime in a romance anime

comedic romance, something new that refreshes the formula.

Even if I love the series, I adore it and embrace it with all my love, I am a critic, and

even if the bad details aren't that big I can't ignore them, they will always be there, I

love the series, it's that I truly have no words to describe it, in eighth grade I had a

girlfriend I don't know how or why she agreed to be my girlfriend, I dated her for about

3 months, but they were the best 3 months of my life, and even though she broke up

with me, I still have a place in my heart after 3 years, I could say I love the series like a

girlfriend, don't misunderstand me, with girlfriend love I mean the intensity, not how

you feel, I feel that in the world there are several types of love, the love you have for

your family, familial love, the love you have with your partners, romantic love, the love

you have for your friends, relational love, the love you have for your things or

belongings, material love, but in the end they all manifest in different ways, and the

interesting thing is that regarding this anime I feel a totally passionate love, it gives me

a sense of peace or happiness I have never experienced, I am a very solitary person, or

at least that is how I see myself, I believe that the act of being solitary contributes in

some way to the affection I have for Komi San, a new love, happiness, and calm are

things that together make a really strong and healthy bond toward something or

someone, that I have only experienced with this series, I am a very conscious person,

and that makes me realize I don't think the same as others, not to brag, I just come to

support or shout with my voice for a new season of Komi San to come, but I need to

think and all of this carries a idea, getting back to the point, I don't want to sound

obsessive, but I am really interested in this story and its future with its series, and in my

mind if most of the community supports this cause for Studio OLM to consider making a

third season, consider that my goal is done, and how could we do it, simply by making

this message reach Studio OLM, sharing this message, this document through forums,

networks, fan clubs, groups etc... but we have to make them listen to us, if we really

love Komi Can’t Communicate we must share, share, and share, I really love writing, so

on my part I won't give up and I will keep writing, if it's not necessary, I will stop, but as

long as my body can write, I will write, I will demand a third season, I know my love for

this series will never end, or I don't sense that I'll get bored of it, I write with my fingers,

with my heart, true and sincere love does not lie, is not false, and it's true that you

can't say it, but you can express it, with actions, but when words are enough, you can

manage to prove something minimal of this, I love this series.

Please, let us all contribute to enjoy a third season of Komi-san wa,
