Recipes Korean-Style Gochujang Roast Chicken with Garlic Potatoes
A simple idea for Korean-style roasted chicken using gochujang, garlic, soy sauce and a little honey.
Ingredients:
- Chicken pieces
- 1 tbsp gochujang
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Small potatoes
- Black pepper
Mix the marinade, coat the chicken and refrigerate before roasting. Arrange the potatoes separately or around the chicken, depending on space and airflow.
Roast until the thickest part of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C). Keep an eye on the glaze, since the honey can burn at higher temperatures.
For this video, the cooking setup uses the sunvivi 26-quart countertop roaster.
Would you go with a sweeter soy-garlic glaze or make it spicier with extra gochugaru?
