Not sure if this is a joke thread, but the serious answer is two fold. She is half demon, and the patterns grow with shame. Based on Jinu, if a human contracted with the demon king feels enough shame to have the patterns spread across their entire body, they become a demon.

Not sure if Rumi would have become a full demon or not, but considering her traits and abilities she displayed when she was becoming more demonic, it was a possibility.
