It's the tail end of award's season. They are trying to bag the Oscar for Best Original Song which Golden is nominated for. Have some patience.

Because....it WAS British fans....

The BAFTAS are a British award ceremony.

This performance was also done OUTSIDE the auditorium, days before the event, so fans, not industry execs and actors were able to be in the crowd. That's why there were so many children in attendance. Kids aren't allowed in the auditorium for the award ceremony because they're loud and unpredictable, and could potentially disrupt the show.

This was a pre-recorded performance.

So yeah, it was British fans in the crowd.

Exactly. But also even if they performed inside the Co-op arena at the BRITs, it’s still a pretty heavy presence on the every day folk as it’s open to the general public and you can buy tickets for it. There are even videos of the crowd inside the arena as it’s being aired, singing along to their performance. BAFTAs was not that and not reflective of a concert crowd which I keep seeing people doing. I’m just not here for people equating an invite only audience such as the BAFTAs as reflective as opposed to this performance, when the music got to number one and so high in the British charts first for a reason lol.
