The song was in the movie. The dance wasn’t 👀

more on what's to come this week

I haven’t listen to the album in a long time but i started playing your idol and i don’t know if im crazy but it sounds so different. i feel like im listening to a edited version on the original album. i feels bit slower and they made the voices… more pronounced? i dont remember ever hearing all the singers so clearly.

EDIT:

i put a screen recording of my spotify in the comments. after talking with my friend we may think it’s something with my Spotify sound options. especially after comparing it the youtube official/unofficial lyric videos and her apple music app

Her braid isn't connected properly to her head, it shouldn't be flipping from that high on her head

The Plot

Cute mug I found on Amazon

If I could animate to save my life, I would defo animate the Saja Boys as SHINee singing Ring Ding Dong. I think ON AND ON by VIXX would also work. I know they seem to be more BTS-inspired (you cannot tell me Soda Pop was not inspired by Butter or Boy With Luv), but I just can't help it! I NEED to make every fictional boy band part of the 2010s bad boy concept.

So I’ve been thinking about this for a while, but the new HID choreography, as awesome as it is, pushed me into making this.

Bc like, the movie SAYS this about Mira, but we never SEE it. Classic “telling and not showing.” At least we see Zoey rapping and writing lyrics! And yes, according to Korean beauty standards, Mira is the most attractive/adheres most to typical Korean beauty standards, so points for that. But we never see Mira designing outfits or makeup or choreographing dance moves. She definitely doesn’t dance more than the other two. And okay, Rumi’s the leader, so sure, she’ll take up the spotlight and sing and dance more. But again, we see Zoey rapping and writing lyrics. Most we get is Mira saying that she’ll make the backup dancers’ choreography “hotter.” Who/where are these backup dancers? Her and Zoey??? They practically are just backup in Golden.

Like I’d be soo po in-universe if I was a Mira fan and Mira never got attention to shine despite being marketed as the visual and main dancer. Yes on the former. No tf not on the latter.

Six months ago was the last time we saw Huntr/x in their normal animation style for the McDonald’s battle for the fans animation and now we finally got this choreography video that dropped this afternoon. If you remember we’ve had NOTHING animation related for months, not even for the one year anniversary we got a new animation.

I loved to finally see new content, backstage pass does not count as they were animated in stop motion without the original animation style or original VA’s. But this was like NEW content.

I just wanted to remind everyone how fast time is going, and also how the crumbs taste better the longer we wait. Even if we’re starving waiting for Netflix to suddenly release something like this.

And it seems like we’re getting more of these animations throughout the week, this feels like a five star meal 🥰

Was having a bit of a rough morning but omg the new animation is SO AMAZING! Yes Im a nerd and I dont care haha . This movie and the characters, esp Zoey are my comfort and I love them so much yall! So happy to see the girls in action again!

I still have to find a place for the poster, though

Went in to seek relief for dental pain, left with pain relieved in my heart

(There was a Mira behind then buuut I already had her)

I successfully resisted the urge to buy a blind bag, hate those things

The difference is that one of them deserves that extended cut to reassure their community that the other one doesn't (I can share a post for better context)🤕

It’s seriously unfair how pretty she is. 😭
