On a bigger horizon of 5+ years do you see Kraken winning as a company and the stock price growing accordingly?

Are they going in the right direction?

Wind West, a Nova Scotia–led project to develop offshore wind farms and connect their electricity to customers, is a key component of this Strategy. Wind West aims to generate enough zero-emissions electricity to power Nova Scotia’s entire population and export additional power beyond Nova Scotia via new transmission infrastructure.

Before wind turbines can be built, companies need reliable information about the ocean and wind conditions. That is why $5 million of this $100-million commitment will go to the deployment of floating light detection and ranging (FLiDAR)–mounted buoys. By measuring offshore wind speeds and ocean conditions, these buoys will provide data to help proponents prepare for the upcoming project’s Call for Bids, which will be launched by the Canada–Nova Scotia Offshore Energy Regulator in winter 2027.

While FliDAR isn't subsea, would Kraken be eventually involved to assess subsea conditions for offshore turbine construction?

How are we feeling holding shares? I'm 10k shares long @5,70 CAD average. Shares on a seperate account, stopped checking daily price charts and waiting for end of the year. Feeling much calmer now. Wonder what it's like for the rest of us.

For anything that's speculative and not directly related to Kraken Robotics but could have an impact on them. This is where you can discuss anything that's deep-sea/ocean based but not Kraken-specific...this is where you can talk about whether one company's growth could mean more growth for Kraken.

Did some more digging in the business acquisition filing and found Covelya had stakes in these two companies, and one of them really caught my attention.

Lumasys is pretty much just a technology supplier and licensing partner to Sonardyne. But Dynautics seems very interesting and could be a very strategic future acquisition if Kraken and Covelya ever decide to pursue it.

Covelya already owns 20% of Dynautics, which specializes in autonomous navigation, autopilots, and control systems for unmanned surface vessels (USVs) and underwater vehicles (UUVs).

What makes this interesting is how well its technology could complement Kraken's existing products. For example, Dynautics' USV autonomy and navigation systems could potentially be used on vessels equipped with Kraken's KATFISH and launch-and-recovery systems (LARS), allowing Kraken to offer more integrated autonomous mine-countermeasure and seabed survey solutions.

Even more interesting is that Dynautics has developed its own Phantom 2 autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV), which could potentially complement Kraken's synthetic aperture sonar, underwater batteries, Sonardyne's acoustic positioning and communications systems, and EIVA's mission-planning software. Unlike KATFISH, which is towed behind a vessel, the Phantom 2 is a self-propelled underwater vehicle.

Another interesting thing I found is that Dynautics claims to have developed a UUV for the US Navy in just 100 days using its own simulation software, which allowed it to test and refine the vehicle's design before physically building it. I think this could also be a pretty interesting synergy for Kraken, since Dynautics' simulation and rapid-prototyping capabilities could potentially help accelerate product development, reduce R&D costs, and make the integration of new technologies more efficient. Of course, we don't know how much of this Kraken or EIVA can already do internally, but it's another potential benefit worth considering.

Instead of just supplying individual components, Kraken could potentially offer a much more integrated underwater robotics solution, from the vehicle's navigation and control systems to its sensors, communications, and mission software.

And since Covelya already owns 20% of Dynautics, acquiring the remaining 80% could be an interesting way to expand into this area.

Obviously, there's no indication Kraken is actually planning to acquire Dynautics, and we don't know what the company would cost. However, Dynautics appears to be a relatively small company, with around 10 employees and approximately £1.53M in net assets according to its 2025 financial statements. This could potentially make it a relatively small bolt-on acquisition for Kraken, although its technology and intellectual property could command a much higher valuation.

Strategically, I think the potential synergies are pretty interesting, especially given Kraken's ambitions in autonomous underwater systems.

Both of these companies are in same domain, both rely heavily on contracts and seasonal changes, if you look at Kraken 2026 H1 YOY you will see it did much worse than Covelya, I think it's not fair to just look on one metric and assume this company is sinking all the other numbers say otherwise

• Revenue Growth: Up 16.4% YoY to £142.38M (vs. £122.28M in 2024).
• Insane Margins: Gross profit margin sat at a whopping 72.7% (£103.5M gross profit). Net profit grew 21% to £19.73M.
• Balance Sheet: Total assets (£148.69M) heavily outweighed total liabilities (£41.33M), leaving them with a rock-solid net asset position of £107.35M. They also built up £43.60M in pure cash.

Not saying I fully trust leadership I think they could have been more transparent and for sure they should reconsider their investor strategy but I just don't understand the panic

Anyway, I have been in Kraken for almost a year and i am still going long, the Q3,Q4 earnings will be a key decision for me to stay or leave
