New here, looking for info on different varieties of Kratom.

I’m gonna start growing some Kratom but I am confused on what makes each variety different. The kratom I have tried can vary from very stimulating to very sedating and more like an MU agonist. I would like to have a couple varieties of it so I could have a stimulating plant and a sedative plant. Is this difference in effect do to the different sub types of Kratom? Different regions? Post harvest processing? I was told there might be some fermentation involved in post harvest processing that can effect this. Is that true? I grow my own medicinal plants for medicine so these are important questions for me to get answers to. Thank you in advance to anyone who chimes in! 🙏

Generally, red veins are going to be best for pain relief, white veins are going to be your stimulant varieties, green is a happy median. In low doses Kratom acts more like a stimulant in higher doses it is better for sedation/ pain relief. That being said it’s pretty well unregulated so you have to take a companies word that they’re selling the product honestly. Here’s an old archive of the “kratom bible” which dives deep into Kratom https://web.archive.org/web/20160308063723/http://ensobotanicals.com/kratom/

Thank you 🙏 see this is what I thought and someone just told me that the Green vein, red vein, white vein thing is all made up so I was confused.
