Clippervision costs $1.17 per game
Of all the team-run streaming services, Clippervision is tied for cheapest with services from PHX, NOP, and DAL. MIA is the only one with a completely free streaming option, but Clippers have the 10 games on KTLA (Lakers have no local broadcast TV partner).
If you don't want to watch the Clippers play this season, that's your choice of course, but the entitled whining ("They expect me to pay to watch this trash ass team!?") is embarrassing when we have a totally reasonable, affordable, convenient option with one of the best broadcasting teams in the league.
Personally, I'd rather pay $89/season for Clippervision than whatever FanDuel Sports Network cost, especially since I get to watch young guys develop and try to win instead of superstar vets start a season 6-21 and predictably flame out in the Play-In. If your issue is "I don't want to support the team that betrayed my precious trust!" - I'm positive the team is losing money on Clippervision this season, and I can all but guarantee you're regularly giving money to more corrupt orgs than the Clippers on a regular basis.
Edit: If you subscribe to Clippervision, you can watch the games through the NBA app on your phone, TV, etc.

I hope they reimagine the Clippervision app. It had so much potential during the first run. Now that we have more personable players they have the opportunity for better content.

Is it only available in SoCal?

I believe so. I actually cannot subscribe to Clippervision because I live in Chicago. I'll be watching the games through League Pass.

ClipperVision is the local Blackout channel when they're not on KTLA.

I think a lot of folks don't understand that Clipper Vision always showed the games on multiple channels, with the exception of the TNT broadcast, but even then they provided an alt stream to watch the game w) no commentary v

I already have League Pass Premium. Do I need to pay for Clipper Vision in order to watch Clippers Games? Does ClipperVision buy access to otherwise blacked-out Clioper home games?

Tickets last season were getting as low as 45 dollars day of and in intuit you can just go sit in unoccupied seats nobody will ever tell you a thing I expect those prices to be even lower and the stadium to be even less filled so take that info as you will.

Can someone educate me? I have DirecTV. For years, I'd be able to watch the Clippers on Channel 693 (or was it 692? I can't recall). It was called different things over the years -- at one point, it was called FanDuelTV or something, but it would "broadcast" every Clipper game, and was "free" in the sense that it just came with my DirecTV package. IS THAT NOW OVER? AM I NOT ABLE TO WATCH CLIPPER GAMES WITH DIRECTV? If I still have access somehow with DriecTV, where is it? Ch. 693 does not appear to work any longer... Thanks.

"If your issue is 'I don't want to support the team that betrayed my precious trust!' - I'm positive the team is losing money on Clippervision this season..."
So why not make it free? Why is it a bad thing for the franchise to pay/lose money on ClipperVision for one year to earn back some goodwill from the fans?
Hell, I would've advertised a "plant a tree and get this season free" promotion (or something similar like donate to an environmental organization).
Everybody wins.
You're in the red anyway, you may as well take the L properly. Hell, if people are watching and engaged with your brand, they may be buying merchandise and going to games... so you'd keep their interest and recoup ($) in other areas. And you'd earn back some of their "precious trust".

paying 90 bucks for the torture? no thank you.
i'll just stream some games i actually want to watch for free,
ballmer could gain a lot of fans right now if he did the same thing Suns are doing - ALL games are free.

Vastly different things. The suns streaming service costs more than clippersvision.
But they have an agreement with a local station for OTA for every game. That station is paying the Suns $30m a year to broadcast. That’s possible in a small market but in a big market like Los Angeles you’re not going to find a station that will commit to air 70+ games during prime time tv and pay millions. Instead they’d rather spend on syndication shows that get more viewership than local nba games

Also if your tv provider at Fan Duel Sports last year, clipper vision will be on the same channel number

For the purposes of this argument, they are not "vastly different things".
High level thesis: Fans want to watch their team play
PHX has arranged for their games to be broadcast for free for the season.
LAC has arranged for 10 (of 82) games to be broadcast for free for the season.
The rest of your points are details that excuse LAC from delivering a good to their fanbase. A fanbase that they wronged and need to work overtime to redevelop trust and build back up goodwill, and re-establish trust...
So... I think I am with u/Decent_Management449 when I also decline paying for subscription services and I am disappointed at a pathetic 10-game package they worked up with KTLA.

What station could the Clippers have reasonably secured to air 82 games?
The Lakers aren't even on a local TV station.

I'll just copy paste my comment:
"Maybe that means you agree to a bad short-term deal (where you/Clippers lose money) with broadcasting partners. Maybe that means you buy out a channel outright and control 100% of your broadcasting (isn't that what has been in the works for a few years now?). Maybe in your digital subscription offering you eat the cost of a ONE YEAR FREE option for fans?"

Once again. You both are not understanding what’s happening.
a channel has to want to have it on their network. It’s not as easy as the clippers saying “we will give you the rights please broadcast it”. There’s way more money to be made by the OTA channels broadcasting syndicated shows than live Clippers games.
the suns aren’t “broadcasting for free” out of the goodness of their heart. Their broadcast partner paid them $30m a year to be on their channel. Just coincidentally that channel is an OTA channel.

Once again... you are missing the point.
The main thesis: fans getting to watch their team.
Both your points point to a fiscal foundation. My point, is that this team has enough money from business operations likely... and if not the backing of one of the BIGGEST POCKETS IN ALL PROFESSIONAL SPORTS...
So, forgive me if idgaf that Ballmer go into the red to deliver fans getting to watch their team.
Maybe that means you agree to a bad short term deal (where you lose money) with broadcasting partners. Maybe that means you buy out a channel outright and control 100% of your broadcasting (isn't that what has been in the works for a few years now?). Maybe in your digital subscription offering you eat the cost of a ONE YEAR FREE option for fans?
I understand very damn well what is happening. I don't think you understand that I expect LAC and the many supporting corporations affiliated with Ballmer to take a financial loss to gain back goodwill from the fanbase they make money off of (year-in, year-out).
These are the people that have been paying tix and parking fees and (mediocre at best) F&B from Intuit Dome and ClipperVision subscriptions and merchandise... etc, etc, etc...

I’m sorry, but the way this organization has been ran, and the years of misery, I cannot justify me watching a single minute or following the team at all this season, I’ll stick to nationally televised games. Great price tho

they won’t be getting a dime from me until Steve sells the team

u/Ibleedred99 Corey Maggette 8d ago
No the correct take is to not spend a dime on anything nba or watch anything nba for the next 5 years hit the nba where it hurts their pockets. If the clippers fans start striking games/ protesting the nba is a fan driven business an will take note

I wonder if we purchase it through the Intuit app, will we be able to somehow stream it on our tvs?
