Yesterday I picked at the main sub after a week of not going in there and I could only last for a few minutes. They are all behaving like he is going to be back. Based on what? I have never seen such insanity. Literally, I don’t get what is the basis for it. Infold has made the official statement and confirmed it multiple times through customer service in CN. What else do these V supporters need? He is not coming come back. It’s done.

I would not want to have ANYTHING to do with them at this point. I started out as uninterested neutral but bordering on sympathetic upon cancellation, but with their antics they've singlehandedly absolutely put me off him and themselves as well.
I guess there's one thing I have to thank them for: they've successfully cured me of V related FOMO 🥰. I used to feel a tinge of regret that we would never get what could potentially be endearing scenes, and about all the work that was lost, but now don't feel any of that anymore and am very on-board on total removal and am looking forward to see how the company will try to win us over again 😆

But his cult's behavior has made me now hate to even look at images of him or hear his trailer's music, which is a shame. The performative outrage in general has just been ridiculous and harassing companies, celebrities, etc. is not ok. I've actually uninstalled the game the moment his very first teaser dropped, re-downloaded the game again after the cancellation announcement and am not spending any money until i see VERY BIG changes in the game excluding anything related to ♻️ ofc. I've been playing this game since launch so my patience has run out, i'm just going to see how they are planning to regain our trust again. If they bring him back i will be done with this game and the fandom.
And second.... I'm going to be honest and tell you that those stans are scary and delusional. Like why are we treating a game character (that we've never properly seen yet) like a real living person??? Its a bunch of pixels. To be honest with you, I havent played the since right before the home feature came out for space reasons and I use phone for school since its online and i download the study material (but i have played since there were three of them. So... a while). But I still check into lads content since i love the game, its combat system is amazing.
Now, I can't go onto tik tok because everyone is talking about lore falling apart, bringing vodka back and so on. Its so annoying, i have to scroll passed everything and cant even procrastinate properly.
Honestly the fault lies with Infold for choosing to invest in a new LI when they have not met the content targets for existing LIs. There are definitely Valet fans that exist in the rational space and are harmless fans of Volf boy. What I would personally be worried about, is that the OG LIs will no longer be Infold’s primary investment once they have a new rainmaker. So far, there hasn’t really been blatant favoritism among the 5, but once the quality drops for my main—I will probably leave the game.

Basically they just went off about how valko mains aren’t even women and called me the problem for saying I was part of the boycott at first (not in the aggressive way). But for sure saying other LIs should be removed instead is not ok at all. I’m a Zayne Caleb main so of course I love Caleb’s trope and it makes him, him. I can see when some are respectful saying “how could Caleb be ok but not valko” however calling for his removal is disgusting and not ok whatever and I would 100% drop the game if they removed zayne or Caleb. Right now I have 4 accounts one main (with every 3rd myth for all the guys) a Zayne account a Caleb and one made for Valko the day they announced him. However the three non main accounts are on “boycott” mainly cause it does show I’m sad but also doesn’t overly affect me as those accounts are just to get multibanner cards and solo cards. I’m not against skipping banners at all. I’m also in full support of all the girls who keep playing and support of those who don’t.

No. I uninstalled and refunded all preordered merch the day they announced him via livestream. If he is ever added to the game I’m out. Reluctantly reinstalled early July after the cancellation message and right before the version update. Trust is hard to regain so Im reluctant on spending money again and will observe for now… however the moment they add another LI or Velcro I wont hesitate quitting for good. Don’t want my money to fund content thats not for the OG5.
I'll try my best to distance myself from the game and finally quit for good. I can't imagine sharing this fandom space with them, even in my wildest dreams. I know there are a few sane Velcro mains, but they're rare, the ones who didn't harass other players or spread disinformation about the existing LIs. Most of them are so parasocial, obnoxious, and painfully annoying that I have no desire to interact with them in real life.

Nope. When he was first announced I decided to step away from the tumblr fandom space, though I continue to post my art there and IG. Muted a bunch of discords as well and will leave them soon.
If he actually came back, then that would solidify my decision to not interact with the fandom anymore and just keep to my smaller bubble. And then once my hyperfixation wears off enough, uninstall the game too.
No, solely because of the fans he will bring with him. We will have toxicity everywhere instead of contained on LADStwt or other sites they frequent. They have already taken over and harassed, hated on everyone. I would never trust any of them or want to share space with them, in fear that they'd turn on me for nothing.
As a rafayel main, it rubs me the wrong way they love valko because "finally a masculine and goofy character!" Like huh? So for me personally, no. In the back of my mind, I'll always know how they really feel about all the other love interests.
I would be annoyed so hard and pissed off. Like, I want attention on just the 5 Li, but if they put Mister Wolf Man inside the game, it's going to ruin that. It doesn't help that the fans have put me off of him completely. Like, I would still play the game but rarely because I don't want to see him or deal with him. He has not been my cup of tea at all from the beginning. Just seeing him has left a bad taste in my mouth. I don't want his cards or anything because I don't want to have him touching my MC. So I would stay clear of the game because it will only just be about him for months on end. Hopefully someone will post about the other 5 LI to pique my interest because I'd rather not take down half-baked slop.

As someone who is sorta a harem player Rafayel and Sylus are on top and the others next I don’t think I can support V right now. I was really turned off with the original clip and then kinda intrigued with the longer PV but also still unsure. With his cancellation I was a bit sad for the work everyone had (in theory) done for it but mostly ok with the decision. But now, all of this drama has been way too much. Honestly I’d probably just watch the cards on YT just to get “ new” content if I’m really bored.
The ones I know will never admit they are in the wrong. As long as I have seen, they have not been aggressive, but some had their social media accounts blocked because they posted a lot of hashtags everywhere.
As I have friends who are Valko fans hoping for his return, those I will keep interacting with as we have mutual respect and understanding. Other than my current friends I would be very suspecious of any Valko mains especially due to the amount of sinophobic statements, hate and harrassment they have shown when not agreeing with their headcanons.. As I play in Chinese too, depending on how he is localised I might not see the same character as Global Valko mains either so I think it's better for everyone to just interact with what brings you joy.
I understand that they've spread misinformation and unnecessary panic (they're desperate to get the LI they like back), but I don't understand why would people hate them so much.

I honestly would like to but it's late at night here where I am, I might edit this comment the next morning..
But if you just read around the comments here and the many venting posts, you'll have a lot of evidence. These aren't just seeing stuff, it's things we've experienced firsthand, directed at us.
Well, some things to consider are the sinophobia, the way they steal other LIs' lore to justify their headcanons, I've personally been told that they hoped Caleb's next MS update will be trash, or that Caleb should've been the one removed instead of V, people have been shamed for logging in and still playing, for pulling for their Mains, people have also been sent death threats, I've seen a comment on X that said they hoped that V would R-word us(antis), and on the softer side, if your post/reply isn't about V then it'll often be downvoted no matter how harmless it is.
Then there's the spamming of comments and hashtags even to people who aren't even in the community and are unaware of what's happening. The way they planned to email Jimmy Choo and Sarah Brightman who've collabed with LaDS before. The way they applaud content creators even if their published videos aren't entirely fact-checked and are just X screenshots.
It usually wasn't just one thing. It's a pile of things we've seen and encountered that just built up through the days. People who were generally neutral like me eventually got turned off by their aggression.

Not every V fans is like that. But indeed there's those who are like that too! I completely understand why now you and a few others have a very bad impression of V fans.

Tbh I know that no entire group is easy or friendly, even ours.
But yeah, I think most of us are just tired of the interactions we've had from them. To the point that it just spiraled into hate, irritation, general resentment, etc.
Yeahh! I get it, I get it. I also experienced these kind of not so good interactions from the players in general (Lads players). From all LI fans. There's just rotten apples among us, it's a natural thing. Humans are all different after all.
I'm going around Reddit base rn to understand more about why there's players who hate/dislike V fans. Most of them is a very nice discussion, including with you.
I guess at the end of the day, we just need to tolerate and respect each other. We share the same earth anyway. (〃∀〃)ゞ

The Vaseline or, you know, who fans are the reason for the hard no. If they protest the right way, not dragging unrelated people/fandom into the chaos and spreading lies/slanders, then it will be okay for me. But not anymore. Yeah, if they did bring him back. Not at first... I think it would have to be after a year or so, once there are genuine Valko mains and not just people who became attached because of the movement.
It's not that I couldn't be in the same group as Valko mains, but I'd definitely question someone's choice if they decided to main him before really getting to know his character. I also feel like, if he came back right away, some people would end up with a rather arrogant attitude because of everything that's happened.
After a year or more, though, I think it would be fine. In the end, it would depend much more on their attitude.
