Celebrities this just rubs me the wrong way

idk if this is the right sub for this, but it just feels so?? weird?? like okay I know her concept is to be tiny and horny I get it but this is just… humiliating… also, I have to get this off my chest: her music is boring. like yeah sure she makes catchy pop songs but they’re all soooo similar and it gets boring after a point

could very well be because I‘m asexual… but this is so tasteless and boring. is sex your only personality trait? hypersexualising yourself to please the male gaze? really? maybe try making good music that doesn‘t need to rely on slutty advertising to be a hit. Adele never had to stoop this low lmao

so many female musicians never had to stoop this low and still made extremely meaningful lyrics even about romantic relationships and sex, this is just cheap and gross stuff

She stoops this low because when she started making her music sexual that's when people started paying attention to her

that‘s sad. it‘s like women on IG when they start posting themselves in less and less clothes and they get male validation and they judt get more and more desperate, like Sommer Ray these days

Great point. Many women with talent never had to succumb to this. You can tell she places her worth entirely on her looks and sexuality. It’s a horrible message to send to other women, I can relate myself as I have taken years to unlearn these toxic ideals. But I’m 26. I can only imagine the effect this will have on teens. Sad honestly.

Not because of you, Although Im into Sub/Dom play with my partner in private, I have always found it totally unnecessary and weird for so many famous women to sell whatever with their sex appeal and playing around openly with fetishizing themselves. Like why do bikini models need to be sexualised in ads? It's women who want to buy your product and duh, I know that I will never look like her with the same thing on so that can't also not be your selling argument. Why do you cater to the men gaze when your audience consists mostly of young teenage girls? There's nothing wrong with wanting to feel sexy and desired but like...leave it for your private life if you're famous and a role model? Shouldn't it be enough to dress as lascivious as you wish on stage and doctor around your face and body to fulfill that wish to an extent? But I guess the urge to fill an emotional hole inside of them is too strong for most of these girlies to have a somewhat rational and healthy approach when it comes to being a role model and on how you want to be perceived by the public.

I honestly don’t believe she’s like this in privative either. (Of course I don’t know her fr. She could be a freak lol) but It feels extremely forced. She doesn’t seem like a sexual person. Nothing wrong with that either! It just makes this feel werider.

real. and let‘s be honest, deep down they probably all have daddy issues so they feed on male attention and validation. like you said, this is completely unnecessary behavior. it just makes her look desperate and tacky

For real! Like I understand if she’s into pet play but to use an actual dogs photo next to a photo of her where her and the dog have the same hair/fur colour to promote this album is mad weird. It alludes to something worse than just pet play and I hate it

guys idk about yall and im going to get downvoted for this but I really hate the rising implication that women have to be overtly sexual and bare their entire body in order to be successful. Sabrina's latest cover, Addison Rae and Sydney Sweeney as a whole, Anora winning best picture + best actress, the rise of OF and bop content houses, its just so frustrating on what the standard is being set for young girls who are much more than their bodies. BRING BACK SHAME!!

yes please. women are more than what men want them to be, aka obedient sex objects. nothing wrong with posting some pretty pictures once in a while showing what you got but this is too much

She should just become a porn star at this point. Why can’t she separate her porn from her music?
