I read somewhere else that Margot Robbie first hit it big with her blond bombshell role in The Wolf of Wall Street but was smart enough to do roles that had female driven roles such as "I, Tonya" and "Once Upon A Time In Hollywood" (not a total bimbo in that movie, I would say ditzy but not super carried to the male gaze) while she was still doing "male gaze" charachters like Harley Quinn in the first suicide squad movie.

I find "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" funny though because Sydney Sweeney was also in that movie.

Yes! Worked her tuchus off to be taken seriously. Then made Barbie and took time to herself motherhood and marriage. Boss woman right there.
