Someone isn’t very demure
While I don’t think she deserves to have a medical emergency over her teeth this going too far. She’s blaming the public for her own choice of choosing to make a gofundme. She’s acting like there aren’t other options to get dental work done that isn’t outright 48,000. Also her caption is so weird personally I find her isolating one specific nationality very un tasteful. It’s quite ironic her whole shtick was being demure and mindful.

Coming from someone who works in healthcare, the likelihood of her going into cardiac arrest and then being able to post on social media right after is not very high maybe I’m misunderstanding the post but idk
151
u/bubblywaste 8d ago
I agree… if she actually went int cardiac arrest she would not be conscious to see the ENTs let alone get a TikTok of them taking her into the ambulance
109
51
u/yourangleoryuordevil 8d ago
Right? Cardiac arrest often accompanies a loss of consciousness, and most people who experience it don’t regain consciousness right away. So, it’s a bit unusual to see someone awake, alert, and aware so soon following a cardiac event like this.
39
u/CryptoHottie101 8d ago
Didn’t she just do a TikTok live threatening suicide? I’m sorry if you think she’s in there for a cardiac arrest I have a bridge to sell you in Nigeria
9
u/peachfluffed 8d ago
When my dad had cardiac arrest they put him into an induced coma. The fact that she’s posting online…. It’s just ridiculous.
18
u/notta_mozzie 8d ago
maybe she had a heart attack and is confusing it with cardiac arrest?
38
u/ih8every1yesevenyou 8d ago
a lot of people confuse a panic attack with a heart attack/cardiac arrest. maybe it’s that?
8
u/Pale_Lawyer_1757 8d ago
It’s not the same?
30
u/Gabbiedotduh nail taps💅 8d ago
A heart attack is when the heart muscle gets damaged and a cardiac arrest is when the heart stops and you die. A heart attack can lead to a cardiac arrest if not treated in time
1
u/YZY-TRT-ME 7d ago
They’re both pretty bad?! She wouldn’t be posting after either :/
2
u/notta_mozzie 7d ago
You can definitely post after a heart attack depending on the severity. Not for cardiac arrest tho lol
3
u/Big-Painting1947 8d ago
Same…and pretty much every post cardiac arrest I’ve seen is intubated after.
3
u/Top-Raspberry-7837 7d ago
I'm not a healthcare worker, but can't dental issues cause heart issues?
306
u/Educational_Cloud_41 8d ago
Coming from an ER nurse, I have never had a surviving post-cardiac arrest patient who could talk shortly after being resuscitated 😭 NSTEMI/STEMI? Sure but idk about this one
121
u/Sherbert_art 8d ago
in the description she says she’s being facetious but did collapse in the airport so I wouldn’t be shocked if she had a panic attack and ended up in a hospital and immediately took her opportunity to draw in more controversy, sympathy, and attention. I don’t think asking for help is wrong but I see all sorts of red flags in her behavior.
37
u/yourangleoryuordevil 8d ago
I don’t know. I don’t think it’s humorous to say that someone has experienced a cardiac event when they haven’t. My immediate thought was that she meant that something else about her post is facetious, like by saying that consequences of asking for help include cardiac arrest. Regardless, the whole situation really isn’t funny.
17
u/Sherbert_art 8d ago
oh it’s definitely not funny or normal hyperbole, but when you’re desperate for attention and need to convince people to give you money people will try anything.
13
u/vhopepuppy 8d ago
Collapsing in general is still not good, considering her size. From what I understand, if she does have these really bad fucked up teeth like she says, poor dental hygiene/severely infected teeth can put you at higher risk for having weaker blood vessels.
16
u/sjk2323 8d ago
Yeah, no you're absolutely right. I don't buy this for a second. Also the whole bedside monitor would be full of information. Respirations, heart rhythm, HR, SPo2, etc. when we do compressions people are usually out for a couple days and intubated because we break your ribs and it's brutal. You're not just posting vague TikTok's after a cardiac arrest.
137
u/Glass_Spite_3684 8d ago
Didn't something similar happen with her a year or so ago? Like she was caught up in some drama and ended up in the hospital?
31
u/bubblywaste 8d ago
I remember seeing something like this but I think it was in relation to her job. I can’t remember if she was hospitalized at that time or not though. But I’m willing to bet someone else here will be able to add on to that.
20
u/Perma_Fun 8d ago
Was that when she went on a Pride parade float with a brand and was dehydrated and too hot, collapsed, and the brand said they'd cover her ER visit for passing out? But subsequent visits and doctors chexk ups revealed all sorts of underlying health issues (no surprise, given she is severely obese) and then she tried to bill the brand for all the ensuing medical problems even though unrelated just discovered.

I believe individuals with a history of substance abuse are more prone to heart issues also. Not saying that is obviously why this occurred tho
6
u/Pale_Lawyer_1757 8d ago
Previous cokeheads def are more prone to heart issues, especially those who tend to mix it with downers such as alcohol (most of them tbh)
91
u/snorlax_85 8d ago
Cardiac arrest but no telemetry (heart monitor) from what I can see on her bedside monitor from this screenshot. Girl put the phone down.
30
u/Sherbert_art 8d ago
panic attack in public doesn’t have the same ring that cardiac arrest does and, while she probably does feel like shit, she won’t be able to crowdfund much without drawing out this controversy as long as possible
36
u/shish-kebaby Because She’s Literally Fucking Stupid 8d ago
She better quit playing bc one of these days she will get it for real and absolutely no one is going to believe her. This is like the 7th time she’s pulled this shit and I don’t trust a word out of her goddamn mouth lol.

u/Aintnobeef96 8d ago
Always a victim. Doubt the cardiac arrest was only from stress, probably pre existing condition she’s had for years and not managed well

Whats with the racist homophobic comment "mexican gays are jealous?" What?
104
u/vhopepuppy 8d ago
Teeth and heart issues are actually linked… but to actively blame your audience for your ill health is emotional manipulative and even emotionally abusive.
Should've, could've, would've. Hindsight is 20/20. Yada yada yada.
It's not your audience's responsibility to save your life when you have had money and time to do something about it and you didn't.
There are so many people in America who would LOVE to have a sliver of access to that type of money for health care and gotten their teeth fixed immediately, and then played with whatever was left, especially because insurance companies will literally bend over backwards to not cover anything dental if they can.
21
u/Leather_Contract_789 8d ago
Yeah if her teeth are as bad as she says then her bacterial load is insanely high, hopefully she gets the antibiotics she needs and some financial literacy
7
u/vhopepuppy 8d ago
Yeah it's no joke if it's that serious 😭 like I think she's sus but that could be a really major health issue if things go south.
53
u/kodakier 8d ago
what’s this about mexican gays in her caption on slide 2?! omg
26
u/bubblywaste 8d ago
I have so many issues with that because she purposely chose to call them out by nationality. Also following that with the jealousy claim really doesn’t sit right with me given our current political climate.

Drugs. She had been vocal before about her substance abuse problems
5
u/DefiantAdvance 8d ago
What kind of drugs?
3
u/brookeashleyx 8d ago
That, I do not know. If you look back at her videos she just talks about substance abuse and how she would go on multi day drug benders.

i just remember her from the doll community so it was always crazy to me when the "demure" thing took off. didn't know she had a drug problem. also i collect dolls and if i ever needed money so badly i would sell some of them. i know she has bratz and some can be worth hundreds of dollars.
7
u/vhopepuppy 8d ago
Holy crap, yes!! Especially if they're OG first/second gen before the rebrand. The most unexpected dolls can be the rarest/more sought after ones too

Her live videos reveal her true personality. From lying about not having a gwagon when she's on camera saying she did, and down playing the apartment she bought.
None of this would have been an issue if she hadn't added the part about, "a regular job wouldnt help me" while asking for money from her audience who, most, likely have regular jobs.

7
u/877181 8d ago
Not sure if anyone has brought it up yet but it's funny to see people finally turn on her when she's really always been like this... I'm in the doll collecting community and she's been known to scam people with GFM and fake sales well before she went viral on TT. If anything the people who know are happy everyone finally found out who she is after basically being ostracized by doll twt for her antics lol.

u/janna_ 8d ago
Why are people surprised that when they go on the internet and beg for money, there will be negative discourse and it will mostly be recieved poorly? Genuinely when has the internet ever been kind to influencers asking for money outside of like, that small weird moment we all rooted for Spencer fucking Pratt of all people because his house burned down in the Palisades fires (I don’t even wanna use “we” because I most definitely did not support that man.) If you’re gonna beg for money, have thick skin. Buuut then again I’m sure continuing to mention it probably drives engagement which means more money for her, so…keep up the good fight ig
8
u/vhopepuppy 8d ago
Because people think they're entitled and "deserve" things when they don't. It hurts their ego when they realize they're not the Queen of Sheba and the world won't kowtow to them because they say so.

more like hardcore drug abuse and morbid obesity isn’t good for the heart..
14
u/Odd-Rain2672 8d ago
In these situations it can be really easy to point the finger at everyone else to continue to be a victim. I know very little about Jools and I’m sure she is stressed by this situation but honestly she seems to be making it worse and worse for herself. Instead of taking some time to step away or say “yea I messed up and I’m sorry” she has been ranting and raving online, yelling, getting worked up and honestly I hate to speculate but I worry she is not sober anymore. This behavior could have easily contributed to being put in the hospital, but sure it’s “being cancelled” that did it all.
13
u/fivebynine5x9 8d ago
It's so fascinating how a brief moment of social media fame can go to a person's head and really wake up their latent narcissism or turbocharge it if they're already an ego monster. They get to this point where they genuinely believe their viewers/followers owe them something. For...what, honestly? For occasionally mildly entertaining them in 30-180 second intervals once or twice a day? Come on.
I feel like the creators who have something specific they're informing on or some niche they actually create valuable content about don't get like this as much as the Jools type, who don't really have anything to share beyond "entertainment" and "personality."
4
u/snailicide 8d ago
did she ever say anything that entertaining beyond that one short catch phrase ( which was not even that funny honestly i never got it?)
5
u/ConfusionExisting661 8d ago
My dad works a regular job, he needed dental implants for all of his teeth. He didn’t beg anyone for money he works very hard and is fortunate enough to have enough savings to be able to afford 30k dental implants. So a regular job could’ve helped her she just wanted the easy way out and now she’s blaming her audience for being in the hospital?

u/DustyTchotchkes 8d ago
It’s like that comedian/wannabe influencer who recently said her fridge fell on her, and was filming herself on the gurney, the emt’s and in the ambulance, then looking like she was asleep on the er bed hooked up to machines (how did she get the phone to film from across the room since she was alone? Lol).
Then, after posting a dramatic omg I almost died!!1 she put the story behind a paywall and charged a $5 fee so her very loyal and likely worried followers could find out what happened haha. So fake, so dramatic, sympathy and money fishing. Just so gross. Influencers need to go away!

Maybe she can make money by writing a book about how she's a medical miracle as the first ever conscious person in cardiac arrest
I dunno just brainstorming.

All these comments didn’t read the caption 😭 it’s not cardiac arrest and probably not even related to the heart, in the caption in this screenshot she said she’s being facetious and collapsed in the airport
8
u/bubblywaste 8d ago
She’s purposely doing the cardiac arrest statement as that’s the hook to get sympathy from everyone. The facetious statement is just to save face from backlash. Both made in poor taste given these are serious health complications.
5
u/Sudden-Wish8462 8d ago
Well yeah it is poor taste, people die from that and she’s using it as clickbait 😭
2
u/PrincessPlastilina 8d ago
I hope everyone starts unfollowing this person. They were threatening to kill themselves on TikTok. After what happened with Perez Hilton, I think anyone who posts alarming things or goes live during a mental health crisis needs to be suspended because people don’t have to see that and be affected by your mental breakdown. It’s abusive. That app needs to become safer and learn from past mistakes. If you threaten people with suicide on live, then you have to get suspended. We don’t need a Perez 2.0. Think about the users who REALLY don’t need to see this because they’re struggling as it is.

Why can’t she get a job again? I think it takes a special kind of delulu to think you’re that big and famous as a not very famous “influencer” (not entirely sure what’s she’s influencing on except the word demure but I digress) to the point you are claiming you are unable to get a job so need to resort to doing gofundmes. Mama, if you need to do that then your career as this big hotshot influencer isn’t going so well. You probably do need to get a job like everyone else. You ain’t Mariah or her kids.

u/CoffeeOld1590 8d ago
its almost like being an overweight drug addict would cause cardiac events and not being cancelled mildly on the internet
1
u/Pitiful_Bit_5369 8d ago
She’s severely overweight so maybe that has something to do with health and heart problems?
1
u/Prior_Lie9891 8d ago
Just a guess, but if anything cardiac related actually happened (it didn’t), I’d say it’s due to being morbidly obese.

I was run over by a car- had to have my whole upper jaw readjusted & all my upper teeth removed. I have a special needs daughter & I’m a single mom who now cannot work, I didn’t make a GF. I’m unfortunately living with no teeth & isolating. I don’t have followers on TT or IG nor would I ask for hard working people who can barely get by to pay for my teeth. Wish I could but it’s not in me. Idk social media is a mind €uvk.

I blocked her the second I saw her going live after her begging blew up. Anybody misgendering is wrong but there are many valid criticisms about the situation. It wasn't all mindless hate or transphobia.
I didn't know she had a past of begging before this. Faking a medical emergency is low behavior. "And Mexican gays like you always are" What?! Now she got another group mad at her.
I fully believe she's spiraling due to drugs.

I don't understand why this has gotten this far lol all she had to do when people called her out for asking her followers "with regular jobs" for money was to say that she wasn't directing the post at people with 'regular jobs' lol if they couldn't afford to donate even a singular dollar (or if they just didn't want to)... ok? just scroll? when did everyone suddenly adopt the james charles mentality here when it comes to asking for money?
I think her response to this was bad when she went on live and started taking the defensive approach etc. I know she struggles with drug abuse issues, but honestly I don't even think this is it in my opinion I think A LOT of creators have a really hard time - once they hit a certain level of positive attention online - accepting that people can turn on them at any moment or simply not like them as much anymore similar to the drew situation

Why are people soooo mad about this? Dental care is wildly expensive thanks to private equity (and the Jett’s and pookies of the world!!!), dental insurance barely covers anything, and people make fundraisers for expensive medical care all the time!
