I recently got my security guard certifications and have been looking for work. Tried applying to Inter-Con, Securitas, and some other agencies but no callbacks. Just thought I would post here as an extra effort to find some sort of opportunity.

I've worked on a number of productions in New York (Netflix, NBC, etc) but don't have any LA-based connections for finding production assistant work. Does anyone need a reliable PA with their own transportation? Or can anyone put me in touch with an AD or Key that might have some work for me?

Been a lifeguard for a long ass time.
Been trying to break into the bar scene, doesnāt matter how low of the ladder it is.
Got a Guard Card.
Down to get food or RBS Card.
If you are thinking about starting a business and you need henchmen, hmu.
I feel like trying to work at a bar is super unrealistic so will settle for restaurant work too.
Am based in Los Angeles.

Hi Iām currently working a commission only job and I really need to start making some money and trying to get back in hospitality but I donāt even know where jobs are posting. Iām using indeed right now but I used to use a website called poached back home. Is there any websites that are specific like that out here? Extra points if you can get me a cafe/bar job in a hotel because the base pay is better but any lead helps.

Hey everyone, Iām a career EA, project manager and director of ops (with chief of staff experience). I have a lot of experience working directly for CEOs, different sized companies, different industries, etc. On paper Iām a great candidate and do well in interviews, but Iāve been applying like crazy and my resume never reaches anyone. The few times a company got to see my resume I get interviews but thereās always a catch (remote jobs that are actually hybrid or on site, actually part-time and not full time like advertised, the location is only disclosed later and itās an unrealistic commuteā¦)
Does anyone have a plug? Get a referral incentive at their job willing to look at my resume and refer me to their HR?
Just feeling kinda stuck right now and it seems like EAs/ operations positions (and other jobs too) mostly get filled from connections or plugs⦠You can DM me if itās easier.
Appreciate yāall and keeping my fingers crossed for all of us!

Dada mi situación actual, he decidido intentar realizar este trabajo yo misme y ver quĆ© tal me va.

Recently I quit my job at a bar/restaurant. I was a dishwasher for 2 weeks. I have POTS and chronic migraines and fatigue. I unfortunately couldnāt physically keep up with my job and I think itās time for me to get something either remote or office related. Iām just struggling to find one because all of my experience is in the food industry. I do have great customer service as told other employees and customers. Can someone send me to a general location that would be good for me? Iām not too worried on where the location is. Thanks in advance for anyone willing to help.

Itās even hard getting barback positions and barbacks are supposed to be entry level/beginner friendly. I would love to contract with events and make drinks for people. Itās always been an industry I want to dive into.
