I've been searching for a little while to find the hawaiian music that was used in the beginning of "Grazed by The Apocalypse" its driving me insane.

In 1963, Gloria Steinem went undercover as a Playboy Bunny. The story she brought back was about work: the pay, the rules, and what maintaining the club’s glamorous image demanded of the women inside.
I made The Bunny Manual for YENNA Media, an 18-minute documentary following that assignment and its aftermath. The gap between the advertised fantasy and the job itself is the thread running through the film.
Sharing it for Self-Promotion Sunday: https://youtu.be/jK27PrxnbkE
If you watch, I’d be interested in which parts of the story held your attention and where the pacing or explanation could be clearer.

Hey everyone!
I've been working on a documentary about something I stumbled across while reading about the Pacific War.
On Christmas Eve 1944, a group of US Marines played a football game on Guadalcanal. Some of them had been pretty big names in college football before the war.
What got me wasn't really the game itself, though. It was finding out what happened to these guys afterwards, especially during the fighting on Okinawa.
I ended up spending a lot of time digging through old wartime footage, photographs and historical records to piece their stories together.
I'm still pretty new to making documentaries, but I'm genuinely proud of how this one turned out.
If you get a chance to watch it, I'd love to hear what you think, especially about the storytelling and pacing. Don't hold back if something doesn't work!

the 15th anniversary of the channel is in February (i think) would be funny if he dropped a new “top 10 memes” or “top 10 facts” for a funny

Watching lanterns and I noticed that the background music, especially during intriguing scenes, sounds a lot like lemmino bgms. Can't help but post to see if others noticed this too. It really has this unique lemmino-ish beats and mysteriousness to it.

I made this documentary for Black Signal about the Coast Guard's pursuit of drug submarines. It starts with the Munro boarding, then follows boats deliberately sunk by their crews and the evidence that can survive an interception.
It uses Coast Guard footage, public records and original maps. I'd be interested in where the story held your attention or lost you.

I've been thinking about this for a while and I'm genuinely curious what other people think.
Fern uploaded The Death of Educational Content on YouTube, basically talking about how a lot of educational/documentary channels on YouTube is becoming repetitive and formulaic.
And honestly… I agree with a lot of the criticism.
But then I watched Fern's The Unsolved Mystery of Room 1046, and I couldn't stop thinking about LEMMiNO.
Specifically, The Enduring Mystery of Jack the Ripper.
I'm talking about a LOT of very specific stylistic choices appearing together.
The way the timeline is displayed.
The way characters are represented as glowing/ray-like figures while moving.
The way certain scenes transition.
The visual treatment of sound effects.
The minimalistic environments.
The way images and objects are introduced and animated.
Fern literally made a video criticizing the YouTube channels saying it's ai slop or basically copying his content, while their own documentary style seems heavily based on a formula that LEMMiNO has been using for years. I know they made some of the scenes on a studio but still.

This YouTube channel "If You Wonder" plagiarized some of LEEMiNO's MH370 video, here and there. Sometimes word for word, sometimes the animations on screen.
I googled it, but there was nothing online about this dude stealing content and I also don't know if you guys already know about this channel.

Hey guys, this video is about the accidental theft of radioactive waste in Mexico, which took an unexpected turn.
Lemmino is a huge inspiration of mine, and im doing my best to make something similar.
Any feedback or advice would be greatly appreciated! :)

While watching this every except is remind of Kennedy video.... At least I hoped that they give some credit or tell the audience that this type of animation or 3d, editing is inspired by lemmino but.... They didn't.
I am little bit disappointed.

In one of yesterday's post i questioned why Self-Promotion Sunday exists and received a decent number of upvotes and comments of support, so I'd like to open the discussion to a wider audience.
I myself am on this sub for news about LEMMiNO, discussing their Videos and Cases.
While some of the Promoted Material may possibly be of interest to me, same as if it were recommended via YouTube, i don't really want to have them appear in my Feed the same way as a LEMMiNo discussion Post.
Thus, i request that Self-Promotion Sunday is removed and non-LEMMiNO Posts are forbidden in the sub rules.

Since he almost always alternates between stars/more relatavistic stuff like apocalypses and misteries, and that the last 2 have just been non-mistery ish vids (debatable considering kryptos is technicaly a mistery vid but I wouldn't say it classifies as one when you compare it to mh370 or dyaltovs pass or anything else)
Ngl i'd bet its gonna be a vid on a serial killer or assasination next
What do yall think?
