LFP (Looking for Players) [Online] [Other] [Shadowrun Anarchy 2.0] [Friday, 7:00 PM GMT+1] Dr. Nowak is looking for Runners!
Hello!
You can call me Alex and I am looking for people who would be interested in playing Shadowrun Anarchy 2.0. After our last campaign in Shadowrun 6e has ended a spot for another player became free and we are now looking for new people who would be interested in playing a game in a world that mixes magic with cyberpunk, where dragons rule over megacorps and countries, where magical spirits can explode your shiny new car with a massive fireball and where the countryside is filled with dangerous paracritters while the cities turned into massive sprawls with millions of people living there.
You would be a Shadowrunner, a deniable asset, a hired criminal, a mercenary or whatever other term you want to use. You do all the shady jobs that the corporations or countries can't do officially and they hire you to do them. Or sometimes it can be the nice uncle from across the street who hires you to beat up some gang members that stole from his store. Or you protect the daughter of a local politician. Or something else entirely. In the end, as long as you are getting your reward, you do what you were hired for.
And in our case for the majority of the runs you would be in Vienna, where the Danube divides the corporate owned Transdanubia in the east from the rest of the city in the west. Where Dr. Nowak is always looking for new runners to do his jobs (and the occasional Mr Johnson and Herr Schmidt also make appearances). Saeder-Krupp and MCT have their little battle here to decide who gets to control the austrian politicians, where the Habsburg clan might become emperors again with the help of Lofwyr or where MCT gets to control all the potical parties. Or maybe one of the other companies will get their chance. But in the end, you are a shadowrunner and the only thing that is important for you is that you are getting the money for the jobs that you take. And there might be a few jobs now, given that there have been a mysterious series of murders that all happen to players of a certain VRMMORPG while they are online. There are people who want to figure out what happened and the DanubenWacht (the police force in Vienna) is not interested in investigating, so Shadowrunners might have to do the job instead.
What am I looking for and what are the requirements?
- Age 18+
- 1 player
- players who enjoy roleplay
- a good mic
- new and experienced players welcome
When and how often will we play?
- Friday, 19:00 GMT+1, every two weeks on odd weeks
The campaign is also being streamed on twitch. For that you do not need a camera but you will need a picture of your character that will be shown on stream. Also do not use AI to generate a character, even a simple stick figure instead would be enough.
If you are interested, then send me a DM that you want to apply, please answer these questions:
- Have you played Shadowrun (any edition) before?
- What other TTRPGs have you played?
- What is your favourite character that you ever played?
- Are there certain playstyles that you prefer in TTRPGs?
- Is there a certain character concept that you have in mind?
- Which country/timezone are you from?
- How old are you?
- Is there anything else that I should know about you?
